Excellent place to familiarise oneself with local cuisine.

Everything was very good, food was delicious for 4 separate meals delivery was fast (<20 minutes). Wine pick to dish was very good, staff was polite, one can order taxi and pack unfinished food for no extra cost. Interior is filled with 'frog' (visit and you will understand what I mean) and it... read more

Six students and myself had dinner here, one had frogs legs, another had duck, but I aced them all with escargot and some of the best salmon I have had anywhere. I do not know what was in the sauce, only that it was superb. It was served searing hot. Very highly recommended.

Ma and Pa and two grown-up daughters liked the look of the outside whilst looking for supper so thought we'd try...this was quite a find. Starters were snails and foie gras creme brulee (not as weird as it sounds if you leave your previous creme brulee expectations at the door)which we shared and followed with seared beef, 'big pig' which... I went here 22 yrs ago while visiting my father in Paris. We had the time of our lives -I remember it well! It had fantastic food and atmosphere! It looks EXACTLY the same- I'm going to start planning a trip!!

Be sure to try some different French specialties. My absolute favorite is the assortment of Foie Gras (with red wine, pineapple and as crème brûlée) and their frog legs

Went there for Xmas eve dinner and was excited after reading the reviews. Quaint place indeed and not that spacious inside. Ordered the specialty cuisine which is provencale frog, tasted salty and lots of garlic....raw. The wine from St Emillion was good. The log cake we had was horrible.

Absolutely loved our dinner here. We tried traditional food such as snails and frogs legs and were pleasantly surprised at their deliciousness. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The place had a lovely, warm and cosy atmosphere.

I enjoyed my dinner here. Had the fried grenouille - as an Asian who eats frogs legs rather often I must say the standard here is average. However, still worth a visit. The steak was great. Dessert was good. Food wise not something to shout about but service is wonderful. Experience worthwhile unless you are some did connoisseur who only... More

By no accounts is this restaurant of poor quality, but I wouldn't rate it any higher. The service was rude and abrupt, the frogs legs were disappointing (we had better ones at the Vietnamese place down the road), and the snails were drowned in sauce. Also - quite pricey. Worth noting the foie gras creme brulee was amazing though.

Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine.
