Always a pleasure

This is a great place to take clients and the food and drinks are always a treat. A colleague and I took a couple of customers here recently and we all tried frogs' legs for the first time (yes, they taste like chicken). Went here with family to introduce kids to frogs legs. What arrived on the table were some tiny frogs and the meat was dry and tasteless. What a complete waste. Do not give them your custom. Waitress was nice and the only reason it is not only one star. Avoid!

After reading some of the posted reviews my wife and I were somewhat apprehensive about going here. It was recommended by a hotel staff member so we gave it a go on our last night in Paris. Initially we were greeted by a waiter who did appear to lack the welcoming social skills expected in the hospitality industry, but then... More

Please never ever consider dining at this restaurant, particularly if you are Australian. We are very experienced diners both internationally and at home and we booked this restaurant on one recommendation. We booked 2 months in advance for a special occasion. On arrival we were treated very dismissively and seated at the very back of the restaurant far away from... More

Myself and my wife went here on Thursday 18th June 2015 because she desperately wanted to try frogs legs and this restaurant seemed to specialise in them. I read reviews of the staff being rude but thought to give it a shot anyway. We arrived and I informed the waiter/manager we needed a table for two but only my wife... More

We went to the restaurant without booking, when we got there we asked if they had any table , she was very rude , made a snobby face and walked way leaving us just standing there . The restaurant looked empty to me. She didn't even suggest another good place to go , she just couldn't be bothered with us.... More

Tucked away in St Germain, we went twice in 3 days. We tried 3 or 4 different recipes between us, and each was outstanding. VERY generous portions...sauces to die for...don't pass up the escargot, also! To complete your artery clogging experience, any one of the desserts will cap the evening off. Good wine selection, modest beer menu

We were looking for something traditional for our last night in Paris. Stumbled on to this place & wowsers, it was awesome. I had frogs legs 2 days earlier & they were ok. This place was amazing. Loads of garlic. I had the Grande version Provencal style & totally satisfied. I'll be back next time i'm in Paris. 36 Euro... More

We really wanted to have an authentic French meal during our time in Paris. Our hotel suggestd this restaurant as it was nearby. I was surprised by how nice frogs legs and snails could be as i am usually picky with my food. If youre looking for an authentic french menu, give this place a try.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
