Thankfully we booked because there was no space at 8.30pm on a Wednesday. The service was friendly and thoughtful, English menu available and English spoken although we didn't need this. There is a menu for €35 of 4 courses. I had the chef's starter of salmon and a white fish terrine then Steak au poivre with chips. My friend ordered... More

Recommended by a dear friend of mine with excellent taste, this restaurant definitely held up to her high standards! I had the deviled eggs (amazing) and Coq Au Vin (so much that I couldn't finish)! My friend had the foie gras and let me try a bite (to die for)! We originally wanted to try the prix fixe menu but... More

Get to this charming neighborhood, non-touristy bistro in Paris. We enjoyed a great salad of beef-heart tomatoes, followed by coq au vin and a cheese plate selection that was overwhelming in its variety and deliciousness. This is a very good value, with friendly service and great food.

Neibouring on the side of an historical arrondissement which used to specialise in light metal works with the architecture clearly shows this is this delightful restaurant. It is good, from the menu staff and price It is what it is. However, demand from 'les touristes' v 'les Parisiennes' leads to almost a lottery. The cheeseboard is amusing, it is purely... More

We sat by the sidewalk with the windows open and enjoyed the people watching as we leaisurely ate a lovely bistro meal. I had poached eggs with mushroom sauce, then salmon with mushrooms, and for dessert a wonderful flaky apricot tart. My spouse chose a “white goat” (deer?) terrine, then a lamb dish, and poached pear with chocolate sauce. Another... More

Usually I familiarize beforehand the TA reviews, but this time we decided to ask the hotel staff for a nice restaurant a short walk away and following their advice we set off to the street towards the Bastille. In particular this restaurant drew our attention and without a table reservation we were lucky after waiting for a moment to get... More

Good and honest French food. I went for a lunch on a weekday, it was not full. The service was good, the madame and the waiters speak some English. Had a taste of the duck terrine and the andouilette and the creme brulet. It was a nice meal and I recommend if you are around.

Popular small restaurant where we were lucky to get a table not having booked. Fixed price menu (4 courses) with plenty of choices for each course. Good quality food, good wine and friendly service, all at a reasonable price for Paris. Recommended if you are in the area.
