Ok

Food was ok , nothing special considering this is the capital of the alleged gastronomic country of France! Food never hot enough, service mediocre, wouldn't go back was a little disappointing .

They have 2 side in this place, the bistrot and the restaurant. We had a cup of wine in the bistrot because we were too early for the restaurant. We arrived at 18:00 and the restaurant was opening at 19:00. They left us pretty much alone for an hour, they didn't came back if we wanted seconds. We moved to... More

We had a good meal, but the highlight was not the food itself, it was the experience of going into the Chai to pickup your bottle of wine. Our waitress knew her stuff and helped us pick a bottle that matched our tastes. The food was good too - I had the white gazpacho and one of the steaks.

During our stay in Paris we tried many restaurants and café's - Chai 33 has a simple but fair choice of food and drinks. Very friendly staff and located very close to the métro stop. Enjoy your drink on the terasse and watch life in Bercy Village...

After a few days of work, we met friends there on a Friday night! Low key, not pretentious but great food and an incredible wine selection! Cedric (in the cellars) showed us the various wines we could go for, let us taste before deciding. Pricy but just incredible wines! We had meat ; the béarnaise sauce was divine! We all... More

One starter was never served (this was expected as the waiter took the order without writing anything). Thé ones that came were far below average. The terrine de canard is not worth a try. The ice cream was excellent though, but this is not enough to make up for the rest. Won't go back.

Low key, minimalist restaurant, with style and pizzazz. Excellent menu; my quinoa starter an unusual mixture with carrots; crab cake with Thai salad was another excellent choice. Main choices varied between dorade, tuna, with the men having beef. Fun wine cellar where we chose our wines in situ. But what was outstanding was the service. One small mistake was rectified...
