Surprising dishes spoilt by inconsistent service

I had a pleasant dinner outside on the heated patio. The main dish, supreme de volaille with chestnut purée and peaches was a real discovery and could not be praised enough. Great choice of wines as well and nice ambience. The only negative note was the service, completely inconsistent across... read more

I have been several times to this restaurant, usually mid-week so maybe not as busy, so service was good. The menu has a good selection, but what they really want you to do is buy some expensive wine from the vast cellar. They don't push you but they will match a good wine to what you are eating at various... More

Despite a very difficult bookings process ( 19 people fixed menu, no flexibility, 50% payment in advance to be able to book) we arrived and had all the makings of a great evening. The environment and the atmosphere was good and the spirits were high! This was soon dampened when we waited 15 minutes for the preordered wine to come... More

We had been to the cafe attached to Chai 33 for coffee in the morning so thought we would try the restaurant in the evening. We should perhaps have been wary of the fact it was one of the few places with seats free on a Saturday night, even if they were outside. The menu was quit standard and more... More

Had dinner with some local Parisian friends here. Great place, with a 200+ year old wine Cave. Very cool. Great food, very good service too, so I am surprised to hear about the comments below. Our server was great working with me in English to find a suitable vegetarian option. We got to pick our wine bottle from the wine... More

I had a really good steak at this restaurant and they have a really good selection of wine (with a cellar you can visit). Not cheap but good.

Came here with a group of 22 people so we had a choice of 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 desserts. Service was friendly, quick and efficient, given the size of the group, although some people had to wait a little longer than others. The food and wines certainly did not disappoint, and all is set in a spacious and... More

We just happened to pop into the restaurant for an impromptu birthday dinner. The restaurant was empty - it was early - yet we were still asked if we had secured a reservation. That should have set me back on my heels. It took forever to get a waiter's attention to bring a menu. But then we were rushed and... More

I have been to this place a few times now. This time our waitress was very good and helpfull. Casual, informal, polite. Food arrived on time and was tasty. The wine cellar colelction is very nice and the sommelier is good. Just the menu has it changed since i have been coming here for more then 3-4 times
