My husband and I (both early 40s, travel internationally extensively and prioritize fine dining experiences over anything else) dined at Le Chateaubriand in early July during the record-breaking heat wave in Paris. We had done our research in advance and we extremely curious about this bistronomie venue given its accolades. Despite it being miserably hot in the restaurant, which was... More

Came here late on 14th july, and had an amazing time having the mandatory tasting menu. The staff evidently had so much fun serving up the amazing food and wine. If like us your french was once better than it is now, recommend getting them to speak French, but only to translate if you don't understand.

I had such high hopes for this place. All the rave reviews, great little space, interesting chef.... However, something was just "off". The food was very creative and interesting, and the space was nice, but it really fell flat for us. Certainly not as enjoyable as L'Amis Jean, Verjus, Frenchie, Gare au Gorille or other local favorites. In fact, I... More

Terrible from the beginning not a top 50 restaurant in the world . The food was inedible and me and my husband are foodies and live in nYC so we've been to top chef restaurants. Other than the bread and cheese plate, the fish , chicken and dessert seemed undercooked and barely chewed I was afraid w would get sick... More

The restaurant only serve a single tasting menu - 12 courses of absolutely delicious food which worth its place as #21 in the 2015 world's best restaurant list. All of it for 70 euro per person!

The service was terrific, the food creative and imaginative, and the wine pairings were excellent. It was a very upscale experience in a cool, laid back setting.

I made a reservation 2 weeks in Advance before I flew to Paris. To accompany, I had my friend, a frenchie. Once in the restaurant, we were briefed about Chef Inaki Aizpitarte's cuisine and restaurant concept. Four amuse bouche, 2 appetisers, one fish, one meat and two desserts...70€, sans alcool. Well, I am not a drinker, so passed on the... More

We stumbled upon Le Chateaubriand quite by mistake, whilst looking for a restaurant of a similar name in a similar area that we had dined in a few years ago. It was, hands down, the best mistake ever made. The restaurant itself is stripped down and informal: the tables are perhaps a little too close for some and the room... More

This was on our to do list for Paris along with watching the French open. Listed world's no 21, who could resist especially at walking distance from our airbnb apartment. We couldn't get an online reservation so opted for the dinner walk in. We reached at around 8pm and were promised a table at 10 pm. The staff is very... More
