It is not any more only in New York but also in Paris, street Montorgueil. We eat there very well, in the beautiful outside(terrace) days, among a young and trendy clientele of the district. Always crowded and noisy, we wait at the counter until the tight tables release themselves. For those who do not need a peace to eat well. A simple and pleasant cooking.

I love this place! I am surprised at some of the reviews. I have eaten here numerous times and have always had a wonderful meal. If you do not like sitting close to people, this is not the place for you. It does make for fun conversations with people you are sitting next too. When I was their last week... More

We had lunch here - from the outside it looked like a tourist place, but inside it was actually very cozy. The pasta was very good and we had a great lunch here. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for some good Italian food.

I got pasta pomadoro. The pasta was well cooked but the sauce was just meh. This place fills up still, so if you are dying to go, go early. The service was nice!

We wandered up and down looking at lots of restaurants and then we found Little Italy. Cosy - all the tables are very close to each other but gives it great atmosphere. Service excellent. Wendy had Lasagne (BEST EVER). I had Penne putanesco (equally the best Ive ever had) and we have both had many Italian meals. Nice house wine... More

I had a great dinner here with a friend. It wasn't too complicated for the menu. Plenty of choices here with different sauces / type of pastas. Theirs pastas were tasty. I would try this restaurant again.

We were walking the five block market on Rue Montorqueil and saw this restaurant. Looked it up on the spot and saw the great reviews before us. We had the small "Little Italy" antipasto which was excellent. Meats and marinated vegetables imported from Italy. The waiter told us not to order the "Little Italy" for 2 and he was right.... More

Food was good. Menu offers a good variety of food. Service is fast and staff is friendly. One downside is that the food was served cold... Would go again to give it another try.

Large selection of Italian food. Delicious and simple. We went back several times stay in Paris. Prompt and courteous service. Must commend the waitress. Mistaken payment, I gave money to spare. I returned immediately. Highly recommend

While walking on rue Montorgueil, my colleague and I couldn't decide on what to eat....so we settled on Italian. We were not disappointed. Service - We had 2 servers during the course of our meal (they took turns depending on who was available). They were very patient (it took us a bit of time to order because we were busy... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
