Pershing Hall is a great restaurant in Paris found in the East Quarter and offers a wonderful ambience during both the day and night. The pretty open air patio (complete with a glass roof for colder times) designed by Patrick Blanc is perfect for breakfasts and business lunches in the sunshine and transforms into a cool bar lounge area from 6pm, a haven for the hip and trendy of the city. The kitchen serves up a seasonal menu which is continually changing and combines traditional French recipes with those from around the world. The wine list is well chosen and features a wide choice from many major wine producing regions of France as well as some rather rare vintages too. Pershing Hall's ambience depends on the time of day: breakfast time is a peaceful time of day whereas lunchtimes become more buzzy and evenings offer a more fun ambience. Sundays play host to a superb buffet brunch between 11.30am and 4.30pm. Enjoy the sounds of the DJ in the lounge bar during the evenings where a large choice of fine champagnes are on offer alongside a great cocktail list and snack menu.

Don't believe the hype

This restaurant attracts a variety of people - from tourists to locals looking for a lovely environment. Waiters are nice but in our case completely forgot the first course (though it made its way onto the bill regardless) - that said they dealt with one of the people's nut allergies with grace if... read more

Worst food, worst service ever !!! This place is simply the worst I've ever been to. It might have been great 20 or 15 years ago ... But now... It is just a sad sad sad place, that lives from long past memories.... The food is horrendous.... The kitchen has no idea at all how to prepare food. It's disgusting.

For a three starred restaurant with such a rich menu, including kobe steak and lobster, the selection for vegetariens is pathetic. What they could offer me, after some adaptations, was avocado-cucumber maki sushi, risotto, pasta and cheese. What a huge disappointment. If I want vegetarian sushi or Italian food, I'd rather go to a sushi or Italian restaurant where they... More

We've tried Pershing three times in the past year and while the venue is very nice and the upstairs bar well-appointed and lively, the food has failed to impress. One time the beef tenderloin was overcooked and this time the roasted bleu lobster tail was unimpressive both in presentation and taste. The entrees - or "desires" - are somewhat better... More

We stayed at the Pershing hall for 3 nights from the 27th of June till the 30th. The location of the hotel is excellent and with a close walking distance to the Metro. The service at the hotel is also impeccable and they have done every effort to assist us with every need and question. The only thing we think... More

Excellent food at an interesting venue. The food not only tasted good but was elegantly presented. The service was attentive and the servers beautiful , both male and female. The room was stylish and had the feeling of the outdoors . Would definitely return when we return to Paris.

The famous plant wall looks great, the courtyard is a lovely setting for a meal whether you're there as a couple or group and the food was a joy. Seriously let down by service and when they spilled a drink over my husband, they didn't even offer us a discount on the bill.

I went to this restaurant mid May. The food and wine were fantastic. I had dim sum starter followed by a generous and delicious main course of black cod. The decor is stunning, with the garden wall and closing roof. Service was a little slow as there didn't seem to be enough restaurant staff but they were polite and knowledgable... More

To sum up: don't go there. The place is nice and staff is friendly which is a major thing in a trendy Paris restaurant. But thats all... The food however is average at best. Entrees were nice, we had the foie gras with st-jaques and the carpaccio of yellowfin. Both ok, but small portions for 21€/ dish. The main course... More
