If you had salmon risotto, you would be happy. If you had the daily special, you would have received some, end of the pot dried out, large noodles, in an OK sauce. Service is very good. Wine list is good.

Very delicious food and great service. Been here with my mom, on Sunday at around 12 pm, but it wasn't too crowded. Found nice table outside. We chose lasagna and one pasta dish, but then the waiter came and offered us a brunch menu. For 22 EUR/ each, we had a wonderful plates, with fresh juice, coffee, omlettes, salad with... More

The ferrarelle water bottle arrived already opened and owner refused to admit it was flat. Then a waiter kept leaving door open ; however the salad made it up to it somehow...

After 24 hours on planes and in airports, my husband and I were looking for a decent meal in pleasant surroundings. We were rewarded with both by dropping in at Fuxia in the Marais area. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, happily speaking English once they realised we were not fluent (definitely not!) in French. Plenty of menu options,... More

Halfway through our 2-week vacation in France, we craved some comfort food, and Italian cuisine often fits that bill. Le Marais is a very busy district in Paris, with many eateries to compete with, and Fuxia did an excellent job in providing terrific food at fair prices and wihtout much delay. Highly recommendable, as long as you don't mind crowds.

the menu is long with many options of fresh pasta and other dishes. I had the pasta of the day, but it had a bitter taste to it, so had to return it, they replaced it with another dish without a fuss. The portions were very big. All in all, it is a good value for money.

We came upon this restaurant by chance while walking to the Metro after visiting the Carnavalet Museum, one street south of Rue de Rivoli. Delicious Italian cuisine, Italian wines, indoor restaurant and sidewalk cafe, friendly service, and moderate price - about $75 for two including appetizer, wine, coffee and shared dessert. Definitely worth searching out.

8 of us decided to eat here whilst wandering the streets of Paris. Poor staff and dreadful microwaved lasagne. There are better places nearby but it was cheaper than expected

I've been to this place twice now, each time taking away positive memories. The food is Italian rosticceria style, with very good vegetables and good pasta. The customer base, as befits the now-trendy area in the 9th arrondissement, tends towards the young and hip. Friendly service, reasonable prices for Paris.

Our experience at L'epicerie/ Fuxia very different from some of the negative reviews. There were 7 of us, we all loved our dinner and the waitstaff were young, fun, and had great suggestions. Maybe our experience was different because the place we had dinner in the night before was way more expensive and none of us liked our meal. We... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
