What a hoot!

I first came here 15 years ago and had great fun then too. Don't expect the best meal of your life but do expect to have a laugh. When you go as a couple you have to choose either cheese or meat fondue. This isn't really a problem as it is very cramped and you will be almost forced to... read more

I'm going to be honest... I never quite remember how good the food is, but the wine is good and free flowing! I've been here twice with two different groups of people, and all have enjoyed the experience of jumping over tables and drinking wine out of baby bottles. The first time I went there was a bit of a... More

It was a good while ago when I went to this restaurant with a large group of friends. It was a fun evening out: eating good, honest and simple food, drinking from baby bottles and reading the messages written on the walls!! Have fun with your friends! Go and enjoy the experience in Belle Paris!

I first came here in the 80s when I was a student, and recently went back with some old friends. The food and wine are not the greatest, but I don't think that's the point. Somehow wine in baby bottles makes for silliness in all shapes and sizes, and the fondue -- well, at least that's also entertaining to cook.... More

Very unusual, come here if you want to have a fun experience (like drinking wine from baby bottles, stepping over the table to take got seat etc). Fondu itself is good, but don't expect too much from the food/drink part, come here to enjoy your evening and have fun. Also good for romantic dates!

I was here 7 year ago and always recommend this authentic place for a Paris visitors like one of attraction. It is far away from fine dining. More like student's tiny party room. Go there if you'd like to have different restaurant experience ...

My boyfriend and I went here on our first night in Paris. After reading the reviews we decided to call and reserve a table for 7pm, when they open so we didn't have to wait for 2 hours. that worked well. We were some of the first people in. The restaurant is very small and you have to climb over... More

We had a table booked for 1030. Friday 13th. February.Whilst waiting on the street for our table (till 11.15) we were chatting to a lady who just came out. Her friend was being held in the restaurant by the staff whilst another friend was being accompanied to a cash point to withdraw money. They forgot to mention or put signs... More

The fondue was OK, but the staff attentive. The restaurant is tiny and you have to climb over tables to get the some of the seating, but it is an interesting experience. The close quarters makes it easy to meet and socialize with the people around you. You might want to go here for a snack and then elsewhere for... More

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
