Was here last night and have to say it was brilliant. The decor was unusual but added to the experience. Got the cheese fondue... Delicious and white wine wine out of a baby bottle... Well odd but would do it again.

Had such a fun night here after reading all of the great reviews. It was definitely a dining experience to remember. Drinking wine out of baby bottles, climbing over tables and endless amounts of cheese and bread. A really great place to meet fellow travellers and have a laugh. Highly recommend.

First thing .... Bring cash! They don't take credit cards. This is a neat little place. Yes ... little. Definitely a place to eat while in Paris, if for nothing else but the experience. It will cost you 21 euros per person. The food is pretty good. Wont win any awards, but definitely not bad. If you can, try to... More

It appeared as if it was the only fondue place in Montmatre (we couldn't be more wrong). A sign said in french and english 'open everyday from 18:45' and a fixed menu is to be readen too. We were there 18:45, entered and a few french unfriendly men were eating. In french they inmediately kicked us off: 'on ouvre á... More

1- Even though it's written on a sign outside, restaurant opens 18.45 ( we got at this time there ) they didn't let us in. Suddenly other tourists arrived close to 19 hrs and they didn't let them in either, so all we had to wait freezing. 2- Once we finally got in, we were forced to leave our coats... More

18 years ago my wife and I visited this restaurant. Without doubt it was the highlight of our visit. We tell all our friends about this place. I am amazed it is still open BRILLIANT

I first came here 15 years ago and had great fun then too. Don't expect the best meal of your life but do expect to have a laugh. When you go as a couple you have to choose either cheese or meat fondue. This isn't really a problem as it is very cramped and you will be almost forced to... More

I'm going to be honest... I never quite remember how good the food is, but the wine is good and free flowing! I've been here twice with two different groups of people, and all have enjoyed the experience of jumping over tables and drinking wine out of baby bottles. The first time I went there was a bit of a... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
