This place was recommended to us by our flight attendant on our flight in to Paris. We finally made it there our last night in Paris. We got there at 10:00 p.m. on a Sunday, and the line was about 30 people deep. As we waited my wife asked some French people in line (it seems many of the diners... More

This is an iconic parisian restaurant. I don't believe anything has changed in 30 years. I would aldo recommend the New York location, which is a little piece of Boulevard Pereire in NYC. Just go to the web site and check the menu, it's built around a steak-frites with a delicious sauce and a salad with walnuts. Simple, delicious.

My (adult) daughter really wanted to go here, as she'd heard about it from others, so we went as a family, arriving a half hour early to get in line (when we left the line was considerably longer). It is just as advertised - steak and frites, down to a science. The place is noisy and busy, and the service... More

Don't miss this great restaurant if you are in Paris, you don't have a menu for the main course, you get to choose how well cooked your beef is. The taste is amazing, the quality is great. You will never regret it. I was never disappointed in this restaurant.

We had just checked into our hotel down the street and immediately went in search for a place to eat. This was the perfect spot! It was 11pm on a Monday night so we were sat immediately and asked how we like our steak. The meal was done very well throughout. The sauce on the steak is heavenly, the baguette... More

The night before we ate dinner here we noticed a long line waiting at least 1/2 hour before opening at 7pm. We talked to people on line who told us this restaurant is very busy due to their menu- steak and fries and all you want. So we lined up the next night and got a table for 6 and... More

Service was really friendly and good. Food was toothsome. Pleasant atmosphere. Definitely go there if you can. The restaurant is located couple of meters away from the Porte Maillot station.

I was lucky enough to stumble on the Lexington Avenue restaurant last year whilst on business (reviewed). This time I took my wife to Paris for her birthday and after a enjoyable amble from Arc de Triomphe down Ave. de la Grand Armee joined the queue at 7.30pm (Fri 22nd) along with what were a majority of Parisians. The wait... More
