Whenever I am in Paris, I must have a meal at this long-standing establishment. Even if you feel full after the salad and double helping of steak-frites, the glimpses of desserts heading to other tables will free up stomach room. For dessert, I recommend the profiteroles, an indulgence you won't regret for a second. Great food & great atmosphere. Warning:... More

This is without a doubt a Paris institution. I have been going to this restaurant for as long a sI remember and on any trip to Paris will always incorporate a visit here. It is simple, delicious food. From the simple green salad to start through to the perfectly cooked steak and fries you won't go wrong. The desert of... More

This restaurant has a wonderful food - best bernaise entrecot that I ate ever - but you have to hit restaurant eraly in evening. If you hit after 6h30 pm/ 7 pm, you might be waiting around 1h30m to seat and have dinner. A little inconvenient but food pays all wait that you may have... Desserts are also great!!

We arrived at 6:50pm and I was perplexed at the lack of a line. You must get there at opening, or about 90 minutes later to avoid standing in line for more than one hour. I was trying to take a friend there for her first meal in Paris but it was closed. I visit this original (beware of the... More

I don't know how we found out about this restaurant but I'm glad we did. Any restaurant that serves unlimited steak and French fries is a great restaurant, but this was even better because the steak was delicious as we're the French fries. We arrived about 5 minutes before it opened at 7 and we were one of the last... More

This is such a unique experience I would recommend it to everyone except those with young children. I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor while looking for a back-up after having to cancel our river boat tour due to cold and rain. We arrived 20 minutes early and got in line with others. When the door opened at 7 we... More

The restaurant was recommended to me by my hotel which was located nearby. I was warned that I may have to wait for a table as it is popular. When I arrived all indoor (including upstairs) and outdoor tables were full and there were approximately 10 people waiting in front on me. I knew if locals were waiting to dine... More

Many things change in today's world! L'Entrecôte which I go to on each trip to Paris is a safe bet: the same queue, same service and same amazing entrecôte and it's sauce for the last 30 years. You should end your meal with a chocolat liégeois. Totally fair price.
