This was one of our best meals in France. Very delightful staff, excellent drinks, great menu. We had 3 different dishes and all of them were superb.

Cosy small restaurant, having the charm of a French restaurant like in a movie. Total menu on chalk board, €23 for 2 plates, €28 for 3. Very helpful and funny waiter. Food was really fantastic, best we had in long time. Very tasty, original, big portions and fast. All plates that we saw looked great, so I guess you can't... More

A pleasant place, rather quiet to taste traditional food at reasonnable prices. The quantity of food in the plates could be impressive, but it is so good that you are surprised to be able to empty them. Nothing to say about a perfect service: just the good time between the courses to enjoy smooth conversation with your guests. An interesting... More

L'Alchimiste was recommended by a friend who is from France. It's a small resturant and very charming in an old world sort of way. The food was delicious and the wait staff very friendly and efficient. They had posted a sign that their credit card maching was broken so we had to use cash. The sign was in French so... More

Superb name for this restaurant as, apart from the mystery around cooking such nice meals from such a small kitchen, it does rather look like an old-fashioned pharmacy, from outside ! Rustic furnishings, attentive service, and a blackboard menu to make your eyes water - in concentration ! Meal very nice, although beef lacked a little flavour, perhaps. Will I... More

Although the food was good and the menu creative, we found the dishes a little hard to digest. There were too many different flavours and I don't rate this bistro as highly as others have. The room is small which is ok except there was no air and it got very hot and uncomfortable. The menu is lengthy, with lots... More

This was the kind of place we were looking for in Paris. A tiny family run Bistrot offt he beaten track with only approx 10 tables. FOr first time Parisiens it was easy to find and from the moment we walked in to a lovely greeting & big smile we were made to feel welcome and they worked with us... More

Say that you have rare chances to meet French couisine. Say that you you want to sip the experience with a single visit. Then, this is the right place, one of the best rep of small, warm French bistrot. Nice for couples. The tuna steak with ratatuille was masterpiece, as everything else, with personal touch. Of course, wine choices are... More
