Superb!!!!!!! What a Parisian dinner should be about! Sheer perfection in every way, device, ambiance, food!!!

It is only a tasting menu with each course being a surprise. How lovely that before the courses begin, they ask if there are foods you don't eat. they then serve you accordingly. You could be eating a totally different dinner than the table next to you. A beautiful dining experience!

I must have eaten approximately 100 times in this restaurant over the years. The frequency speaks for itself. The kitchen is highly original in that it combines French cuisine with a touch of Thai, with a presentation that compares with the best of the Japanese. In particular, I always liked their "soups"--although "soup" may not be the right word. In... More

We've done the Michelin-starred thing in France and in the US, and wanted something a bit more avant-garde this time. Ze Kitchen Gallerie appealed because of the market-based tasting menu, the alternative saucing (nothing external to the dish itself), the attention to the nature of the ingredients themselves, and the fusion approach. The tasting menu (9 courses) was truly excellent.... More

Very clean modern atmosphere with attentive service. My host was fluent in French but I feel the service would be as good for a non fluent visitor. The appetizers were small but interesting and tasteful. My duck was very good but have had similar in NY. Overall nice place for a light lunch but a bit heavy on the wallet.

I have to be honest, the reason why I am not absolutely crazy about this place is mostly the design and ambiance. The food was quite tasty, but I was not crazy about the proposed starters. Starters are supposed to further develop one's hunger, but at the same time satisfy his taste receptors. The ones that we got did neither.... More

Arrived at Ze Kitchen Galerie for a 8:30 seating. I realize that in Paris multiple seatings in the same evening are commonplace, but where is the line at which the establishments needs outweigh those of their clients? Food was excellent, as was the bustling ambience of the restaurant, and staff were friendly both upon arrival and in explaining the creative... More

From start to finish the most amazing experience! Their wine choice is outstanding, the very best Montrachet I have ever had-seriously. The taster menu is an journey of flavours and a very enjoyable one at that. The service was impeccable, humorous, informative and guiding. Trust them to guide you.

The food is very differente from everything I ate before. A mix between french and asian cuisine. Amazing. More formal place, however, unmissable.

We ate at Ze Kitchen Galerie on Tuesday night, and it was spectacular. It is a beautiful modern space. Very simple, clean lines but not sterile. There is a large window into the kitchen, and we enjoyed watching the many chefs doing their jobs. The service was extremely friendly and professional. We don't speak French, but that wasn't a problem.... More

Was recommended Ze Kitchen Galerie by concierge at our hotel. We're seasoned travellers and always treat ourselves well wherever we go, but this blew us away! The food was wonderful, so flavoursome, but the wines recommended by the staff were out of this world.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
