It is not often that a lady as smart as she is gorgeous invites me for a little lunch in Paris. She knows I love seafood and told me she would take me to the very best sushi in Paris. I had just tasted some in Osaka and Sapporo, so I was curious. When I met her at the Louvre,... read more

Fish restaurants are always expensive, just because the product is also expensive. Vin et Marée, withou beeing a bargain is very good value. They have their own boat and the fish is very, very fresh with a very pleasant service

As a "amuse guelle "we had some Moules a la creme which were so delicious that we asked if we could have one order although it was not on the menu. No problem! We appreciate such flexibility. The sauce "A la Creme" was excellent. Main courses we had risotto with Scallops and a salad with goat cheese which was good... More

There are several "Vin et Marée restaurants in Paris and we do enjoy them, but this one is unfortunately not at the same level. The fish was fine and fresh...but what else, the service was quite poor and sad as were our deserts. My glass of red wine Sancerre was chilled cold !!! and untasty. We paid a lot for... More

We were staying nearby when the rains came and hunger prevailed, so we ducked in to this seafood restaurant across from the Comedie Francais. Our kind waiter, Marius from Romania, impressed us with his attempts at the many languages represented in the main floor dining room. (upstairs seating for 80 more!) the menu was a generous 4 course meal with... More

Went here with 7 French colleagues who come here regularly. It's funny, but the French look past interior or service- what they care about is the food. We had the menu for € 34 and it was really good The free starter, giant mussels in a creamy, buttery sauce were simply to die for. The small fried fish (friture d'éperlan)... More

Service was good, but food was just average. Hotel was located close to our hotel, so went without recommendation. Definitely not fine Parisian dining.

Had smoked salmon and then lemon sole - both OK. Husband had Coquilles St Jacques and a lobster - the scallops were good but the lobster was ordinary - 4 out of 10. The owner/waiter seemed to be more interested in his phone than in serving his customers. Quite expensive for what was served although they did give a plate... More

I visited twice on a trip in 2011 and the food and service was quite good. This time in June 2014 I had the Bouillabaisse which I had in 2011 and was quite good then. This time they took us upstairs as soon as they heard our english voices despite the empty restaurant downstairs. The food was nice but the... More

Awful food and service! We had the most unpleasant waiter. We seemed annoyed to serve us the over-priced terrible food. I ordered the filet of sole for 39 Euros. It arrived whole - from head to tail with skin. The sauce was almost non-existent. My daughter's meal was worse. Her scallops were hard and inedible. She barely touched them. The... More
