I eat most of my meals in Paris with a child companion. Perhaps that is the reason why my experience with this restaurant is different from some of the bad reviews I saw for this place. I have eaten here more than six times in the past 6 years. The food is consistently good. It is a very easy location... More

Dinner with 6 colleagues, atmosphere upstairs very relaxed, with pianist playing in the background. Oysters excellent as well as the lobster raviolli. Other colleagues had fish soup which looked excellent and fish for mains. The enormous shared rum baba for desert is a must.

Visited it for the second time & was absolutely happy with quality of food & service. Seafood is fresh. Waiters are friendly & client oriented. This restaurant is pet-friendly.

We were a party of 5 adults and 3 sleepy children. The welcome was not great at first, but the staff ended up chatty and helpful with the children (after a red eye plane ride from Boston). The food was delicious. I had the choukroute de poisson, the kids had mussels and shrimp, there was a soupe de poisson, etc.... More

We are two weeks into a family vacation to south of Spain, south of France and finishing it off with three days in Paris. We arrived at our hotel today and our concierge recommended Nomad to us for lunch, it was quite good. After an afternoon at the Musee d'Orsay we walked to Vin et Maree, also recommended by our... Dined here last night on the recommendation of our nearby hotel. We ate upstairs beside the window which had a pleasant view. The complimentary mussels in butter sauce were outstanding and probably the nicest mussels I've ever had - we mopped up the sauce with the fresh (brown for a change) bread.... My sole was excellent and my companions had... More

Vin et Maree is a chain of very good seafood restaurants around Paris. The one on St. Honore happens to be closest to our hotel and we have frequented it many times, (twice this trip already), with another coming up on Sunday! The food is fresh and well prepared (I love the Choucroute de la Mer) and the starting appetizer... More

on rue Saint-Honore. Meal started with complimentary mussels in creamy sauce--delicious. Ordered stewed monkfish with vegetables. Got a grilled dorade with bowl of mashed potatoes to share. Decided to keep, given time constraints. Was perfection. Other diner's Dover sole also excellent. Noticed two other tables with order mix-ups. Come here for fresh, whole fish cooked well.
