We dined as a family at Le Taillevent during a 2 week holiday in Paris. The service is unbelievable - almost intimidating as there are always waiters nearby throughout the meal. The food was delicious. My daughter and I had a lobster appetiser which was superb. It melted in the mouth. My other daughter had mashed potato, which sounds weird... More

Dining at Taillevent was an incredible experience. My wife and I went for lunch, so the prices were more manageable than the dinner prices. I enjoyed the tasting menu with wine pairings (definitely recommend getting the wine pairings), while my wife ordered off the regular menu due to allergy concerns. The staff was very accommodating of her allergies, and even... More

This was supposed to be another grand dining experience. For us the experience was less than satisfying. We arrived and were whisked to the table, I always find it rather off putting that you have to walk past so many waiters who all seem to be profiling you. We were seated, drinks ordered and the conversation was in English no... More

It really is the most formal and grand of restaurants with extremely well trained staff right from front of house to the waiters. We ordered a la carte and the food was fantastic. Although I was wearing a blazer, we did feel underdressed as the rest of the customers were in full black/navy suits. The staff however were neither snobby... More

This is one of the World's greatest restaurants. Presidents, Prime Ministers, World Leaders eat here. Beautiful decor, furnishings, surroundings, dishes, silverware, crystal. It is like eating in a beautiful French Chateau or Palace. The food is incredible. Inventive Haute French Cuisine, so delicate, yet powerful in flavor, everything tasted wonderful and it was very creative, yet delicious at the same... More

If for once in your life you decide to treat yourself a truly memorable, special meal in Paris, then look no further than Le Taillevent. From warm welcome, to warmer farewell and everything in between, a truly magical dining experience. The food is delicious and not fussy, so you can tuck right into it and not look for more bread... We've dined at Taillevent several times since the mid1990s. The last 6 or 8 years have repeatedly provided us with terrific experiences at Taillevent, most recently, a few days ago. We've dined for dinner and for lunch, with family and friends and alone as a couple. The service is flawless and welcoming. The food is neither tired nor cliche-ridden and... More

Our Favorite Meal in Paris !!!! Better than Guy Savoy !!! The staff welcomes you as you enter like royalty +it continues . The service is impeccable but only surpassed by the food. We both had a Langostino soup for 95 E + A Sea Bass on Leeks w/ A Champagne Black Truffle sauce that was the best fish dish... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
