We booked Taillevent based on reviews in Trip Advisor and Zagat. Dinner ran about $725 Canadian ($500+ Euro) for the 7 course tasting menu with 1 glass of champaign and 2 glasses of wine. The food was very good with the spelt risotto and lobster the stand-out. All dishes were well prepared and came out in a timely manner with... More

Just so-so food. Unless you look like a French aristocrat, they don't know what to make of you. They appeared shocked that some non-aristocratic, non-French, even English speaking couple had the nerve to make a reservation and actually show up. We went for the food and we're not impressed considering the price.

For my early birthday celebration, I went to Taillevent with my foodie friend. We were not disappointed. Great wine list as well. But the best part was their staff. Service was just so exceptional and flawless. I hope to return many times more. I just hope my fellow American travelers pay respect to this wonderful restaurant by dressing themselves appropriately.... More

A good friend referred me to this wonderful restaurant. He and his wife have been to many of the best and this is his favorite in Paris. We had a perfect dining experience from the entry into the restaurant where they greet you like royalty and treat you the same way the entire time. The serving staff is simply amazing,... More

The service in this restaurant is simply wonderful and the sommelier will be able to recommend some gorgeous wines to match your choice of meal. I had the degustation and wow, it was devine. The best I have had I would say. The service is impeccable. Really a lovely experience.

My wife and I were recommended Taillevent by friends who had said it was a memorable experience. We managed to book for lunch and from all the great restaurants we have visited in the UK and around the world, I have to say this is my favourite. Quite wonderful food, wine, and service.

Everything was exceptional from the decor to the service to the food and the wine. The service was impeccable. The wine, superb. The same for the food. It's not snobbish or patronizing. I fully admit to being totally over my head re: the wine list, but the sommelier recommended a marvelous Bordeaux in our price range that was superb. 5... More

I wanted to do one all-out, once-in-a-lifetime meals in Paris and chose Taillevent on the trusted recommendation of a friend who has eaten at the best restaurants in the world. My boyfriend and I went for lunch so we could do the prix-fixe and have our meal be as affordable as possible (I'm not rich)! We did the wine pairing... More

We dined as a family at Le Taillevent during a 2 week holiday in Paris. The service is unbelievable - almost intimidating as there are always waiters nearby throughout the meal. The food was delicious. My daughter and I had a lobster appetiser which was superb. It melted in the mouth. My other daughter had mashed potato, which sounds weird... More
