A rare find

Excellent food. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. What more could you ask for in a restaurant? This restaurant, located a half block west of Avenue Suffern is within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower.

My wife and I walked into this place for dinner before going to the Eiffel tower on a weekday. It is small, but well furnished and attractive. All staff spoke english with us and were gracious in their assistance. We ordered from the plate menu: appetizer, entree, and desert for about 30 euro each. I added a glass of wine... More

We really enjoyed our dinner here! The choice was good and the food itself was well cooked and nicely presented. A lovely salad with foie gras amongst other things. Too bad that absolutely everyone was a tourist in the place. Russian, American, English, Danish, Dutch. No French people except staff. Glad to see there was not an empty table in... More

I do not speak French- that is usually a big disadvantage and many French waiters are less friendly because they are annoyed of English speaking tourists. The lady in this restaurant was completely different. She welcomed us in such a nice way that we felt home immediately. The menu for 34 euro included starter, main dish and dessert and was... More

We stumbled upon this gem while strolling back to our hotel from looking at the Eiffel Tower by night. Unpretentious, well cooked, well presented traditional french food in tasteful surroundings. We went twice.

Excellent food! A quiet well appointed small bistro. I would highly recommend going there. It is far better than the line of cafe's that are in the same area. Nothing disappointed us. Really a gem of a find.

Only 5 mins walk from the Eiffel Tower this small, friendly and modern restaurant serves wonderful traditional French cuisine. We came with the kids and they thoroughly enjoyed the food. Reasonable lunchtime menu 34euros for three courses. Highly recommended.

Small mom and pop restaurant with great food. I had the duck with raspberry sauce, and nobody in my party was disappointed. You'd better email in a reservation or you'll be turned away at the door. They get right back to you.

After reading reviews on Tripadvisor, decided to give it a go on a recent short break in Paris. The food was like something out of BBC's Masterchef and the service was friendly, welcoming and attentive. No gripes, everything was as good as it possibly could be, and very reasonably priced for Paris.

This little place is so good we went twice in the week we were staying in Paris. It's a little place and we walked in on a Monday and had to book for Friday night. The duck confit and floating island dessert is worth traveling to Paris for. If you're in the area, you'll definitely get a taste of Paris... More
