Tasty pho even for Asian travelers!!

This one is pretty famous but it deserves the fame! I order the traditional beef pho and was amazed by the extremely soft and tender texture of the meat, The soup is also great and the price is reasonable. Great food in all.

First of all...for European diet I see Asian cuisine to be less popular and less integration into daily diet. However in North America diet probably not foreign at all, for example almost every quaudrant there is some Asian restaurant around. Having several days of baguette sandwhich...puff pastry..I decided..enough is enough and I just can't do it anymore so we took... More

After reading all the reviews I was having super high expectation before coming to Paris. The food was actually only good and not amazing. I had pho and spring rolls. It's a good pho, but I have had better pho in Bordeaux and Sydney. I'd say if you happen to be at the chinatown area then go for it, but... More

I got the number six. I was with a large group and they got us seated quickly and brought everything out quickly too. I was very happy with my food! Try the nem!

I went this restaurant for late dinner, as usual you have to wait for the table. It was long que outside the restaurant. The soup is tasty. It's the best pho in Paris.

Waitstaff was not friendly at all to welcome us to the restaurant, I believe the manager actually sat down next to us and ate loudly while screaming some Vietnamese at the staff. The food was just average, and the table was very small, could barely fit our two bowls plus the veggies. Overall, would not visit again as I can... More

We have eaten a lot of pho in Melbourne and Vietnam, so we are very familiar with the flavours and textures. We had a large pho and vermicelli with grilled beef. The key ingredient - beef - was fresh but in our opinion, not as tasty as Australian beef. As for the pho, the soup and noodles were ok, let... More

Very good Thai restaurant near Place d'Italie. Food was fresh and very delicious. Reasonable prices, good services. Might be crowded, but it is definitely worth waiting!:)

When I was a kid, this restaurant used to be an institution. That's why and when they got all those good references in guides and magazines. About 2 years ago I came back and felt the difference! It is actually the opposite and even dangerous to eat there since the change of owner (not an asian by the way...) If... More

Feeding the pho addiction continues, Paris edition! We went aaaaaall the way down to the 13eme to investigate the pho situation. When we arrived (maybe 9 pm?) there was a queue outside, but it moved very quickly and we were seated within 10 minutes. This space is cramped, the tables are so close together that you often can't get out... More

Staying in Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique

Neighborhood Profile
Place d'Italie / Quartier Asiatique
Far off the beaten path, this part of Paris is a forgotten gem worth exploring. Avenue d’Ivry houses Europe's largest Chinatown with great Asian supermarkets and shops, and a thrilling atmosphere around Chinese New Year. Place d’Italie impresses onlookers as soon as they set their eyes on it. Not far, around La Butte aux Cailles, the streets suddenly imitate provincial France and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported. The beauty of these streets lies in their surprises around every twist and turn.
