Located near the Luxembourg RER Station Perraudin is a small but welcoming bistro. The food is wonderful, reasonably priced and the place is often packed so if you are a group or want to go at a weekend please remember to book. The starters and desserts are the stars especially the Profiteroles which are just amazing.

I wouldn't say Perraudin is an iconic restaurant. It's hasn't got such pretention, yet you really feel like you're in Paris, in a time warp. The food is good, honest, classic old family recipes and reliable. Such old style dishes like "tête de veau sauce ravigotte" remind me of my grandmother's cooking and I go specially to Perraudin whenever I'm... More

Small little place in the area near our hotel. The food was solid and reasonable. One could get a 3 course meal (starter, main dish, dessert) for less than 20 euros which is not bad IMHO. We found the onion soup delicious as well as the au gratin potatoes. The lamb was good also. This is not a 5 star... More

Even though the staff was very busy, we got friendly service and we like the basic food. This is not fancy, but good traditional type french food. We will be back.

Nice typical place, traditional decor and traditional food. The set menu brings a warm herring salad, good steak tartare, lovely île flottante for dessert, a very drinkable house wine. Fast friendly service, goo atmosphere. Not scenic though even with Pantheon round the corner. There are no tables outside, and no views from the windows. Just use it to have a... More

After reading some TA reviews, we were disappointed in our dinner at Perraudin. There was nothing special about it at all. My husband had the lamb, I had the beef bourguignon, and they were adequate, nothing more. Our dinner was rushed, and we think it was because a table of about 16 tourists with their guide came in and became... More

"I met my old lover on the street last night..." (Thank you, Paul Simon) That's what this lovely Parisian restaurant yearns to be: a place where old flames meet up again, months, years, sometimes (as in my case) decades later. It lives in a narrow old rue in the Quartier Latin not far from the Sorbonne and has all the... More

For nearly 30 years, I've been going to this restaurant whenever in Paris. The meals are always good, especially the long-simmered meals (plats mijotés). On this occasion, all 8 guests enjoyed their choices from the menu, which included boeuf bourguignon & gigot d'agneau; nearly all took advantage of the 18.50 EUR menu offer. To be sure, I will return as... More

We arrived a little after 7, just after it had opened, looking inside it was well styled and the staff were welcoming. The room is just what you'd expect from a little French restaurant, the food was even better! We had the set menu and all three courses were delicious. The food manages to walk that difficult line of both... More
