Dropped in to get some tea for a friend. "We've never sold that kind of tea." Which is odd as my friend has the packet. At 9 euros 100g I expected it to be gold. The old-fashioned cashier girl was nice, but the salesperson was pretentious and the prices ludicrous.

An incredibly wide menu. You can discover so many different tea from all of the world. We chose green tea rom China Huang lung and from Himalaya garden, a first flush. Our Choice was ok, suggested by the waiter from our request to try green tea from these origins. Nevertheless I would have expected a more precise advice and more... More

Yes, the tea is fragrant and delicious...and you can get Mariage Freres's teas in many locations around the world now, but the experience of being at the Original MF is something quite sensual and, yes, Parisian. Reserve a table for an expertly poured High Tea, but if you are just stopping in to buy a few boxes (or beautiful black... More

We brought 5 children to lunch - they were friendly and accommodating with some of the best salads!! I have been to many of their restaurants but never with children. It was a good experience as everyone enjoyed their food and also loved the teas!

The Mariage Freres is much more than just a very good tea house. It offers big variety of delicious and beatifully prepared dishes. Great for brunch, lunch or just afternoon tea. You can also buy the tea that you ordered (and had never heard before) plus the one you didn't get the chance to try, on your way out!

Dined at the Mariages Freres temporary restaurant at the M&O exhibition. Excellent service, great 'thea infusion' based preparations. Disappointed to miss the cheesecake as a desert untill we got the 'improved ' version a.k.a. 'l'etoile mysterieuse' referring to a TinTin story: Waauuww, Greeeat!

We had a list of perhaps 15 tea rooms in Paris to try and our hosts at our B&B said "Mariage Freres. Of course, you start with Mariage Freres". Once we saw their tea shop floor, we realized it would be the place to get good tea. There was a guest who just came for tea which runs about 9-14... More

My husband and I visited here for lunch -- we had a reservation. The restaurant was quiet and the waiter was wonderful. I had the LE CLASSIQUE. We were hungry and quickly devoured the generous portion of brioche toast. The grapefruit juice was the most divine beverage I've ever had. My shrimp skewer was scrumptious. The eggs and spring roll... More
