One of our fafourite places to eat in Paris

Les Galopins was recommended to me by a close friend including the menu item to order: "Cote du Boef pour 2" a good steak for two people. The meat came with potatoes only French know how to do DELICIOUS. The restaurant is in a small street not far from Metro station Bastille. Highly recommended. Say hi to July! Meal for... More

A nice place for a traditional French meal in the Bastille area, with a frequently changing menu, good food and great atmosphere. It's a small restaurant though, and very busy, so be sure to book.

Les Galopins is a simple neighbourhood bistrot in the 11th, near to Place de la Bastille. The food is fairly standard, but well prepared and the cost is reasonable. We had stuffed chicken breast and pork with mushrooms for our main courses. The choices are all on a slate so I assume they change frequently. There is a reasonable choice... More

A small but comfortable little restaurant in the 13th arrondissement in the middle of the entertainment area but far enough away to be enjoyable to sit down and relax. The prices were not as good as some of the others around that had 'plats' ( a fixed price for entree + main or main + desert) but still ok. The... More

We loved our meal at Les Galopins, in the lively Bastille neighborhood. The slow-cooked lamb shoulder was absolutely scrumptious. I asked for a salad to go with it - which wasn't on the menu - and they prepared a delicious one, with many vegetables and a lovely dressing. Wine, service, ambience - all were just perfect.

We, the French start-up located just near by, have gone around the area for a nice lunch place. Well... Les Galopins, by very far, gets our preference. Nothing extraordinary. Nothing boring. Nothing bad. Food is fresh and diverse. Prices are extremely moderated (lunch for 14,50 euros, coffee and glass of wine included). Service is excellent, fun and ironic. We really... More

My brother and I ate here five years ago, it was so good I wanted to go back , so I did, and was not disappointed. I arrived early, and the retaurant was quiet still the welcome was warm . The menu on a chaulk board soon at the table, the complimentary beer as well. I had a rabbit Terrine,... More

Was recommended by the Parisian manager of the apartment for serving typical French food (we had been to Chez Paul the night before). Went with my daughters to celebrate our last night in Paris and return home. We had the escargot pasta as you do followed by the shoulder of lamb which was fantastic. House vin rouge was good also,... More

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary dinner and we were very impressed once again with the quality of the food. We ate on a Sunday night and compared to previous dinning experiences it was much quieter than usual- but equally enjoyable. I am a vegetarian and the choices are somewhat limited but every time we eat here... More
