Description: Fables of La Fontaine took the time to embellish. To welcome the new...
Fables of La Fontaine took the time to embellish. To welcome the new kitchen of Julia, the room wants to be more spacious and light, thanks to its increased capacity and windows to admire the fountain of Mars from its table. On the walls are stone walls contrast with the industrial lines of windows. The decoration is in tune with the times with a solid oak furniture, handmade, art of the table uncluttered and very light tones inspired naturalness. David Bottreau to head the restaurant for ten years told the kitchen Julia SEDEFJIAN, formerly second restaurant, went head today. Together they reflected on a new kitchen, which is the new life given to the restaurant: gourmet cuisine tinged with a bistronomic generosity. They dust off the gourmet kitchen, and make accessible star, with only watchword quality and creativity. The kitchen retains its identity by selecting marine classics of the marine world, but also delicious and unknown products to the general public. The noble products such as sole, lobster, caviar are available now in suggestion, according to arrivals. Seasonal products are showcased, guaranteeing freshness preserved, and starred cuisine is reflected in specific executions, controlled, in order to rediscover and exhaling in the flavors

Michelin 1 Star...

Worth a visit. Some very creative dishes! Very young Chef Julia and manger David do an excellent job. The service was good. Tiny but cute atmosphere. Some dining outside in a nice courtyard. Close to the Tour Eiffel. Reasonable prices. The lemon tarte is super!

This is a great restaurant street with Les Fables and several Christopher Constant restaurants within a half block and more nearby. Great food, lovely mini square setting, beautifully composed and delicious food. Worthy of its one star which many Michelin restaurants are not.

One of my favorites and it never fails. One of the key advantages is that it is open seven days a week and very accommodating for last minute bookings. The food is mainly sea food based and meets the eye through its very creative presentation. It is located in between the many rather touristic restaurants , in close proximity of... More

My wife and I stumbled across this place a couple of blocks back from the Eiffel Tower. The dining room was crowded but we managed to get a spot without a booking (late on a Wednesday). The food and service was perfect. The menu is in French and English (which I often feel means you pay a hefty 'tourist' premium... More

My husband and I had just checked in our hotel and asked the friendly young lady at the front desk for dinner recommendations. She suggested 'Les Fables de La Fontaine' and I am so thrilled that she did. We had wanted to go for a walk and then eventually end up at the restaurant but a rain storm drove us... More

I visited this restaurant twice with my partner. Both times we had the lunch set menu. We found the food to be excellent the first time and very good the second time. I definitely recommend and would return for another meal ! One of the best experiences we had in Paris.

Specialized in seafood, dishes are beautiful as well as flavorful! We had the "menu du jour", which includes starters, main course, cheese and dessert. Plus a glass of wine, for 42 euros. I thought it was a great value for money, considering the quality of the food. Waiters are so nice, attentive, polite. Very good service!

We did not realize this was a Michelin starred restaurant, but I certainly think it deserving. We had lunch. Two appetizers included crab and they were just amazing. I dislike the new molecular cooking originating with Ferran. While this has a hint of that, it is just enough without being precious. We shared Dover sole as a main. It was... More

A very small space-24 seats at most- with absolutely remarkable food. Starting with a crab and poached egg construction that was warm, deeply rich, and luscious; a perfectly "pot pie" of roasted chicken with a poured in/over broth as rich as I have ever tasted. Perfect in every way.
