We walked in without a reservation and they seated us kindly on a nice table. The stool however was like a back exercise. We wanted to have some French cuisine so the (lovely)waitress/owner I guess suggested me a sausage from pork intestines or something. I...said “it’s ok I will try it” The pomme frites and salad on the side were below Macdonalds level (mc fries are actually epic) and the sausage was vomiting, awful. When she asked me if I liked it I said “no it was awful” and she laughed. Haha very funny. Well,if I ra a restaurant and suggested something to someone and he told me he hated it,I would either ask him if he wants something else or would refund him. Who risks a 3 star review so easy, right? Worst dinner in France, and btw all plates looked equally unattractive. The foix gras was fine.More

It was a lucky chance, when I found this restaurant on Google, purely because of the distance to my hotel. And indeed – I was lucky! This warm, simple, non-pretentious place served me a fantastic dinner. The food – yet simple and traditional – is...very well cooked and is lovely to the last bite. The wine list – yet short – has great wines, and they are priced decently too. After the dinner, I came out smiling and decided that I will definitely return there on my next evening in Paris. TIP: please reserve your table in advance. I went there on Monday, and it was full all evening.More

We chose here as the last dinner of the Paris stay, but were able to experience the best meal. Our recommend is a pork cheeks! We love it.And the special dessert was really delicious with it, too.

Even if we are from Canada, this was our third time having dinner at Les Bacchantes because it never disappoints. Always great food with great service! Not the biggest or fanciest restaurant but every meal will be delicious.

Les Bacchantes is a superb authentic cosy Parisian restaurant with a management team who provide a warm welcome. An English menu is available. I loved this restaurant so much for its home cooking that I ate there twice in the same weekend. The first night’s...shredded duck parmentier was outstanding and the second night’s steak tartare Charolais was delicious. The restaurant offers a good selection of wines. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices charged. We enjoyed pre-supper champagne at the Hotel Maison Athénée’s lavish bar next door. The hotel bar has a soothing décor, plush seating and wall to wall photos of French actors. The hotel also has a smoking bar downstairs.More

We did not want to travel far from the hotel so we googled for restaurants nearby with a fear that it might be overpriced and touristy with substandard food - luckily, this restaurant was none of the above!! The service was amazing especially by the...lovely lady with curly hair who seemed to be managing the floor, the food was divine - one of the best hanger steaks we’ve had! We ordered the chocolate molten due to rave reviews we had seen here but admittedly, the tart that our neighbouring table had looked more scrumptious but the molten was devoured nevertheless.More

Very nice authentic north French restaurant. Food was delicious. Couple or family , you will find a nice place for your dinner or lunch. It’s definitely not one of this tourist places and the service is very friendly and supportive if you have questions to...find your dish. Food was very fresh (fish and oysters). The Foie Gras could have a little bit more crystal salt on top ….More

Used to go there once a week. Went there recently and looks like they have a new (bad) sheriff in town. From an old school tasty restaurant to a fake typical place. Service is kind but food is extremely disappointing, tasteless and sometimes badly cooked....Sad but I lost a placeMore

A small, but very cosy restaurant with great choices in food and wine. Friendly service. And nice to see everyone working to make it a visit to remember. When we come back to Paris, I will be back in this place.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Paris. The food tastes really authentic and the whole setup has a homey feel to it and it’s not expensive at all.

I had the risotto, which was very average, certainly overpriced. The flan (pudding) was good, though I was expecting something more exceptional. Overall, it was not bad but I would not come back.

This place was a magnificent find. The hotel staff recommended it for a French restaurant. It was so great, we at there again our last night. This was a fantastic restaurant. The staff was great and helpful. The food was phenomenal!!! The duck and the...beef were both fantastic. I also tried escargot for the first time ever which was very good! We also had a fantastic dessert here that was basically like a crème brulee bread pudding type of thing. I don't remember what they called it, but it was an exclusive for this restaurant. A must stop if/when we come back to Paris.More
