Forget about fancy settings and focus in the food. That is the definition of Le Troquet. If a local friend would have not told me about it I would have missed a great opportunity to have a great dinner in a hidden gem. I return every time I go to Paris.

This is where the locals eat. Be prepared to be the only foreigners. The food is in the Basque style, and is quite good. The 15th arrondissement is out of central Paris, but it is worth the trip.
