a normal place for tourists

We've stopped there for a lunch on a beautiful sunny day, great view for the Baseline St.Clautilde. Have good set menu offers. Kind of French cuisine but very touristic. Valid just to stop in, have a drink, some snack. Generally 4,5 grade.

Yes, I am an American! I am from NYC & a self proclaimed foodie. I love Paris, everything about it - the architecture, the language, the people, the food...oh the food!! I was fortunate enough to have spent 2 weeks there last month. Every meal was wonderful, from a croissant at a corner patisserie to a lavish dinner at Jean... More

I came across this restaurant by mistake and I am glad I did. It's tucked away from the touristy scene and is simply wonderful! The service was fantastic! I quite enjoyed my lunch and will be back.

Nice location by the square. Some dishes were quite good (the salmon tagliatelle) but some less so (the soup, the meat). Service could have been better - my entree came when everyone else had their main course, and by the time they asked if I might want my main everyone else was on to their dessert. Don't regret going but... More

Me and my boyfriend had the misfortune of dining here on New Years Eve. The dishes were poorly executed, tasteless and not what we ordered. For afters, we ordered a selection of mini desserts..what was served was really quite shocking. The presentation was awful - i couldnt identify anything on the plate- and everything tasted foul as though it had... More

I feel compelled to add to my girlfriend's upcoming review of this terrible place that almost ruined our NY Eve celebrations in Paris. We stumbled upon this on Lonely Planet and, eager to get a dinner booking down, went for it thinking we were going to get a solid bistro experience. What we got instead is almost beyond words. Things... More

First i want to say that: it is not a matter of price, the bill was right. My fiancee booked for dinner in this "so called" restaurant, and finally she came out almost in tears for the shame. In brief: 45 min to take order, we ask for a st.emilion gran cru Bordeaux wine 2008 from the wine list.(me and... More

I was in Paris for 5 days and have received good service only once ,that was thanks to a waiter that was interested in helping a non speaking customer, rude morning waitress and not at all interested in her job , rather haveing smoke breaks all the time .The food was below par ,burnt croisants , half of set breakfast never... This was overpriced poor quality parisien bistro food and service at its worst. The food, which wasn't neccessarily what we ordered as the rude waiter attempted to just memorised our order, was bland, poorly presented and consisted mainly of lettuce. My wife had the butchers choice from the e32 menu, sufficient to say that is also the name of a... More

So went there for dinner and we order two Plat du Jour dinners. They were to come with starter, entree, dessert, and wine. After our meal we were presented with an al la carte bill. What!!! When I reminded them about ordering Plat Du Jour the waiter kinda shrugged. So I paid the bill which was exactly 25€ higher than... More
