Liked The Food But Not The Staff

I ducked into here for lunch while strolling through the 7th Arrondissement, because I was hungry. The man behind the bar greeted me without a hint of a smile and demanded to know, in an unpleasant manner, whether I had come to eat or drink. He then yelled to a woman to assist me and said... read more

I was drawn to this place by its lovely location opposite a park in a square, hence the name. The waiter looked very disappointed when we arrived on a cold Monday night in January, with out a booking. He said we could sit in the lower completely empty half of the restaurant at the worst table. We asked to sit... More

Our friends found this restaurant since it was just a few blocks from our hotel. We met for dinner and it was a great experience. It's a small, neighborhood restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. We had Osso Buca, Duo Fish (salmon and whitefish), chicken, wine and dessert. Everything was delicious and very good service. We had breakfast here... More

Sitting outside drinking wine and eating is a fun way to relax. The food is good quality but not chi-chi.

Hi, first day in Paris after long time, was rainy day. Were walking and found this place. As before we had not good experience in many places close to tourist attractions, decided to try a place far away for main streets. Nice surprise with food and even waiter was speaking english little we got nice company with elderly lady who... More

Stopped by in the afternoon after visiting Museum D'Orsay for a late lunch based on Yelp reviews. The experience was way beyond expectations. The service was great (we left a package behind and they saved it for us when we came back hours later). I has the Duck Confit, and it was to die for - the best food I... More

We've stopped there for a lunch on a beautiful sunny day, great view for the Baseline St.Clautilde. Have good set menu offers. Kind of French cuisine but very touristic. Valid just to stop in, have a drink, some snack. Generally 4,5 grade.

Yes, I am an American! I am from NYC & a self proclaimed foodie. I love Paris, everything about it - the architecture, the language, the people, the food...oh the food!! I was fortunate enough to have spent 2 weeks there last month. Every meal was wonderful, from a croissant at a corner patisserie to a lavish dinner at Jean... More

I came across this restaurant by mistake and I am glad I did. It's tucked away from the touristy scene and is simply wonderful! The service was fantastic! I quite enjoyed my lunch and will be back.

Nice location by the square. Some dishes were quite good (the salmon tagliatelle) but some less so (the soup, the meat). Service could have been better - my entree came when everyone else had their main course, and by the time they asked if I might want my main everyone else was on to their dessert. Don't regret going but... More
