Nice food, nice atmosphere

Fun location and a great service. The food isn't expensive but I was still hungry after the small portion of fish and the few lukewarm french fries.

We dined here Friday 03 July with a table of four. The attentive service kept our reservation for a terrace table even though we arrived a quarter of an hour late. We had very fresh appetizers of bream ceviche, followed by salmon tartare and unparisian fish and chips. Although not really hungry, we appreciated the icecream and home-made profiterolles in... Staying in an air B&B nearby, our host recommend La Sainte Marthe for an evening meal. Situated in a charming square, this small restaurant / bar is just brilliant. Buzzing with locals, live music (traditional French / light jazzy = nice) and great atmosphere. Food is really quite nice, it's not outstanding, but it is very enjoyable and despite what... More

Just enjoyed a great Parisienne casual dining experience. We don't speak a word of French but the staff were helpful, friendly and made that a non-issue. From the entree to dessert the food was consistently better than good ! The place was bursting at the seams with locals chatting convivially over a beer, wine, meal - quintessentially French! Hard to... More

I was brought here by two friends and enjoyed it so much we went back the next night. The duck terrine was out of this world. Wine was very good and we had very good service on both occassions. I'd highly recommned this restaurant. " I'll be back"

Food just ok but either no vegetables or no potatoes.wine was undrinkable although to be fair this at least was taken off the bill after we complained. There was no soap and there was water swimming all over the bathroom. The worst thing though was the incredibly rude waitress..there are so many great Restaurants including Jambo opposite in this area..I... More

I was extremely disappointed in the service. We waited for over two hours for just the appetizers. When we raised the issue the waitress told us she didn't care. The food was average. I highly recommend against going to this restaurant.

We were here for over three hours waiting for our food. Food was just average. Literally took 1 hour for starters and more than 2 hours for the entree without explanation or apology. Ridiculous!

Maybe I'm a bit biased because I go to the restaurant (near my home) regularly, but the food is consistently excellent, the staff are super friendly and the wine is very reasonable in price and very high in quality. The square (Place Sainte Marthe) is a hidden gem in Paris, a genuinely unique part of town with a unique atmosphere.... More
