Lovely

The best place for eating steak and fries. The sauce was very tasty. Although the price was €€, it is still worth to try. The food will come in 2 parts. Me and my friend really enjoyed the food and the service there. Definitely,I'll come back again.

I have been going to Le Relais de Entrecôte in Paris for years and it never fails to deliver. Wonderful food--fair prices--served by delightful waitresses. A lot of new trendy restaurants could learn a lot of this tried and true combination. Not fancy, but elegant and satisfying . Try it on a cold winter night.

Great value. The meal starts out with a salad. You are asked how you want your steak cooked. The steak comes with a huge order of fries and steak with a sauce. Perfect. They come around again with a second helpings. The selection of wine is good. Tables are small and crowded which is pretty typical. Service is attentive for... More

this is a must visit for steak, chips and red wine lovers... ok, so as per all the other reviews, you need to get there before 7pm or after about 9:30pm. be prepared to queue outside as this resturant is extremely busy and popular. dress code is informal. the secret green source is clearly what makes this restaurant famous. it... There are so many other places where you can eat better meat. On the other hand, none of them probably can compete with the sauce they serve with the meat. I like them refreshing your service with extra meat and french fries when you finish your portion but not yet feel done:) Deserts are awesome. They have fair wine menu... More

This restaurant is great. yes they only serve one plate but it is exceptionally amazing! It is not that expensive considering that you can repeat your plate for a second time... Also a lot of variety of deserts! Must go!

For meat and dessert lovers only. 1 single dish concept. It seems to work very well as the big room was full of mainly local parisiens. The unique dish is entrecote with delicious French fries with amazing sauce. The dessert menu is huge and made of home made delicious cakes, pastries and other sweet options. The service is excellent. Highly... More

Le Relais de l'Entrecôte is a family-owned restaurant with a few locations in Paris. I've eaten at this one as well as the one in Saint-Germain-Des-Prés. Get there early if you'd like to be seated when the restaurant opens for dinner. We were there about 30 mins before the doors opened. Yes, it does get that packed. Otherwise, you'll want... More

I had not been back to this place for a very long time, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the set menu (it's not an a la carte restaurant) was still of good quality and reasonably priced. If you haven't been there, it's certainly worth a try. Beware of long lines!

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
