Good place for a lunch menu

The lunch menu had just 2 options to choose from, but it was ok, since we like to try recommendations anyway. I had a very delicious fish soup with fried octopus (which was a little chewy) and my husband a fish salad. For a main course there was a white tuna (quite dry) and chicken (nothing... read more

My boyfriend and I visited Le Reminet for dinner on a Sunday evening and it was wonderful. Reservation, even on a Sunday, seemed to be a must and we were seated in the cellar on arrival. The cellar is adorable, all stone walls and candelight and the waiters speak in hushed tones to keep the atmosphere. The wine was good... More

The Le Reminet was delightful, my wife and I felt like true Parisians until we asked for the 40% discount offered by trip advisor and then the waiter forgot to bring my after dinner coffee... My wife had the duck and it was great, I had the Cod, she beat me this round as the duck was the best we... More

We had been here a couple of years ago but it was still difficult to find this time! We used google maps France but we could have rung the restaurant to ask! It is just off rue Frederic Sauton, behind Port de Montebello on the Left Bank by Notre Dame. This small restaurant is well-run with just two waiters but... More

Great food and lovely atmosphere! Restaurant is small but decor is classy, with tall candlelight lit tables, miniature chandeliers and grand mirrors hanging on the walls. Ordered their Cod fish dish and that was superb. I am a fan of dessert wine and their selection was excellent. Booked our table via tripadivosr and got 40% off our meal. Think you... More

We were able to get a reservation at this small, charming restaurant on the left bank. In an intimate space no wider than the width of several tables, we were an served excellent meal with impeccable service. In addition to a well-balanced menu, there is a board with specials of the day which our waiter kindly translated for us. The... More

Amazing high end dining experience at le Reminet. Centrally located near Saint Michel, away from the main tourist streets this is one of my favorite restaurants in Paris. Very quick and friendly service with interesting french menu with some modern twists to traditional cuisine ! Highly recommended !

While my husband and I enjoyed our lunch at Le Reminet, the service was cold and slow. We were one of 2 tables outside and it seemed like they forgot about us a few times. Overall it took almost 2 hours for 2 courses. The food was tasty and we liked the atmosphere, but the service really did bring down... More

I visited this week while visiting Paris with work with an American colleague. Our local French colleague was recommended the restaurant but was dubious because it is in the tourist hotspot, but how wrong could he be. Food was excellent, wine too, and the service very helpful considering two of us were non French speakers. Highly recommended.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
