Service is friendly, knowledgeable and conpletely unstuffy - bravo! Visiting again after a year and standards of service and food remain very high. If you have over-indulged at lunch then look no further than the Noix St Jacques as your main course, having skipped the starters. It is excellent. Filets de Sole pronounced very good too. Superb cheese board: a... More

The service was too long and the food was average. I think they can improve a lot because it's was not at all a bad experience. May be because it was fully booked this evening and they don't have enough time for quality. We wait almost 40 minutes between each meal. The position is great and easy to find.

After the foie gras appetizer, the main course of sole with pancetta on creamed spinach with a lemon butter sauce, I was treated to a fabulous dessert: a chocolate ball filled with ice cream, a poached fig, and a hazlenut mousse, propped up an a ring of bread pudding, with accompanying fruit sauces. Presentation and quality were lovely. Service was... More

We have visited this lovely restaurant every time we are in Paris and it has never disapointed us. Food is excellent and the service is very friendly and the personnel know all about their food and wines. I had the best sole I have ever tasted and my husband had scallops which he loved. We can higly recommend this place... More

We booked using the fork for convenience not the discount but the discount was a bonus. Like many other Paris restaurants the tables are painfully close together and quite small. The couple seated next to us were obviously unhappy about this coziness. As guests arrived it was apparent there is a second dining room and I wonder if it was... More

We dined at La Reminet on a Sunday night. The tasting menu is organized a little differently. You select two items from the normal appetizer menu and two items from the entire menu. While the portions are "smaller" they are still ample. Add to those four items a cheese course and dessert and you have a great meal. Three of... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
