Description: This St-Germain des Pres landmark continues to thrive as it has done since the turn of the last century. The classic Art Nouveau brasserie style is still elegant, with ivy arches, swooping iron banisters to the mezzanine, ironwork facade, and beautifully lit glass ceiling fanlights. You'll feel as if you're having a real Parisian experience and you are, you are. The menu is classic French. Try starter of wonderful fruits de mer, main course of calves liver meuniere with caramelised salsify and broccoli, and pudding of fantastic 'Saint Germain' ice cream sundae.

We came to get out of the rain between meals and the waitress was very helpful matching a wine to our appetizers that we got. Everything was wonderful

Situated one street back from Blvd St Germain, maybe it doesn’t get quite so busy as quickly as its more famous counterparts nearby which were already full. We chose it simply because there were still quite a few tables available at 8pm on a Friday evening. It’s a large but very stylish restaurant on 3 split levels which adds to... More

Our hotel concierge recommended this bistro for a easy Saturday dinner. The seafood and the lam was very good, the bistro was very busy but nice. Perhaps the staff was a little stressed but overall we were happy with our dinner. We would probably go back if we had a longer stay in Paris sometimes soon.

I wanted to like this place. It specializes in fresh seafood. The waiter was reasonably attentive, but there was an odd odor inside. They were out of the dover sole and other fish I was interested in so I had a very ordinary cheese plate. Others in my party liked their food, but the tastes I had of their liver... More

the restaurant is very nice, in original art deco style. The area is one of the best of Paris, in the heart of St. Germain des Pres. The fish was very good. Prices in line with other similar restaurants in Paris, 80 € each. Only downside: the waiter was a little out of breath and I had to ask for... More

We'd had a couple of great dinners at LPZ in years past and then, about seven years ago, a far less successful lunch -- so it had been a while since our previous experiences here. But on a rainy Sunday evening everything lined up just right. The welcome was warm, service enthusiastic, and the food very good indeed. The atmosphere... More

My husband and I went to le petit zinc during our stay in Paris for our honeymoon. I had actually been there 11 years earlier and loved it so decided to return. To be honest I don't even know if is owned by the same people but it was better than I remembered anyway! As luck would have it we... More

The food was mediocre and service really couldn't be considered service it was so poor. Also, way over-priced for! Too many amazing restaurants in Paris to bother with this place.
