This St-Germain des Pres landmark continues to thrive as it has done since the turn of the last century. The classic Art Nouveau brasserie style is still elegant, with ivy arches, swooping iron banisters to the mezzanine, ironwork facade, and beautifully lit glass ceiling fanlights. You'll feel as if you're having a real Parisian experience and you are, you are. The menu is classic French. Try starter of wonderful fruits de mer, main course of calves liver meuniere with caramelised salsify and broccoli, and pudding of fantastic 'Saint Germain' ice cream sundae.

Fantastic staff, wonderful food, great atmosphere, Multi-level restaurant layout works superbly. This restaurant serves what must be the best sea bass in Paris, cooked in clay and retaining all the flavour of the best, fresh, wild sea bass. The choice of oysters superb also. Can't wait to go back.

Delicious seafood. Very close to Cafe de Flore, has many different dishes, including a well served seafood complete dish. Good wine, opens for lunch and dinner!

A nice restaurant next to Saint Germain church. It looks like a tourist trap, but do not be deceived. Very well kept, nice decoration, nice and delicate simple french food, oysters, shellfish, very good fish, some good wines on the list. Friendly staff. Good option for the neighborhood.

A great place for a cosy, relaxed dinner. We were concerned about some reviews about slow service since we went on a Saturday night but didn't find that to be the case (we did have to ask to order wine after sitting for some time but it then came quickly). Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was... More

We landed by accident in this restaurant in St Germain des Prés. Since we were early it was almost empty, but very soon it became filled with people enjoying dinner. Very cosy, very nice food and friendly staff.

This is the kind of restaurant you want when you have a group of folks to take to a nice place, and enjoy a relaxed no-hurry meal. The surroundings are very cool art deco, and invite you to stay a while and enjoy yourself. But the problem was we sort of had to stay a while, given the wait time... More

Dear Guest, We're glad that you provide such a detailed comment. Indeed, you really well describe Le Petit Zinc and our offer. However, we want to apologize for the delayed service you experienced. But, as our staff said it can be difficult when the restaurant is busy, even if we always try to keep up the pace. Kind regards, Antoine... More

The best part of this restaurant are the incredible art nouveau interiors. However the food is quite average for the price and the service is really quite slow.

Dear Guest, Our decoration is one of our greatest source of pride as well as our cuisine. It's the reason we're surprised you found it average. Our dishes are prepared on place by our chef from fresh high quality products. Kind regards, Antoine B. Customer Relationship Manager avis@blanc.net More
