Description: This St-Germain des Pres landmark continues to thrive as it has done since the turn of the last century. The classic Art Nouveau brasserie style is still elegant, with ivy arches, swooping iron banisters to the mezzanine, ironwork facade, and beautifully lit glass ceiling fanlights. You'll feel as if you're having a real Parisian experience and you are, you are. The menu is classic French. Try starter of wonderful fruits de mer, main course of calves liver meuniere with caramelised salsify and broccoli, and pudding of fantastic 'Saint Germain' ice cream sundae.

We recently ate at this restaurant. The meals were excellent as the service and decor. Treat yourself one evening!

We decided to dine in this restaurant after the good review I read here. We turned up at 7.30 with our 4 year old child and a push chair, no reservation. They were super friendly and kind with us and they gave us a great table on the first floor. The restaurant is big and at that time it was... More

Cool looking place but that's where it ends. Way over priced, way over rated. Service was week at best. Food, kind of like wedding food .Typical tourist Trap. Walk by, take a look, eat somewhere else.

I ate here twice and both times it was good. First time I ordered the chicken second time the beef. My daughter and I were traveling with a group and they were good with the group but they are bad with the separate bills. You have to work it out yourselves but that it true of most of Paris. I... Stunning food but go for the small menus 40 euros for three course or you will need a large cheque book ask for a table outside you have to book in advance

We went to the Petit Zinc because we stumbled upon it while walking around the neighborhood and thought that the decor looked very nice (Art Deco) and because of the decent reviews on TripAdvisor. I managed to get a booking at 4pm for dinner at 8pm, on a Saturday night, so they're not fully booked weeks in advance, but were... More

This is one of those places that people rave about and I don't know why. Despite a reservation, we were seated at a terrible little table by the front door, even though the main dining room had no patrons, just an army of waiters polishing silver and setting tables. Nevertheless, after 15+ minutes no one had visited us. Even after... More

My friend and I (2 thin females) ordered a giant seafood platter (Plateau St. Benoit; 125 Euros). We surprisingly ate the whole thing and was actually still hungry afterwards! We had 6 oysters each, all different kinds. They were fresh, large and tasted okay, but they weren't as sweet as I would've liked. We also ate 2 shrimps and 2... More

Le Petit Zinc is a restaurant that is part food and part entertainment, a theatre in the round. We had not reserved a table but were ushered in by the head waiter as if we were the most important guests ever to arrive. He had a list of well rehearsed stock phrases that were repeated as if prompts from the... More

All in all a happy experience. The food was good (plat de jour - good value). My cocktail was excellent at $6, shame it wasn't the one I ordered. Notwithstanding I would recommend, we were very well treated and the food was good.
