We found this restaurant by accident when making a walk an August evening. The whole experience was very pleasant. Very good food at a normal Parisian price, for that neighbourhood. And a very pleasant service, which is rather rare around St Michel. The terrace location added to the charm, but this may be less the case when it's cold or... More

After not getting in to this restaurant on a Sunday night, we ate here on a Monday night. The restaurant was crowded but not full when we arrived at 8:30 pm. The tables are close together but the atmosphere is cozy and fun. The staff was very helpful both with the food and our french. We started with an artichoke... More

Discovered this place via Rough Guides and managed to get a table for three just after it opened at 7pm without a booking. Very quickly it filled up and they had to turn people away in droves so reservations are recommended. Great atmosphere but a small place so never too noisy. Friendly staff by Parisian standards, fantastic traditional food presented... More

We ate here during our recent trip to Paris through a recommendation from a friend. The restaurant was not very busy when we got there, but after 30 minutes all 10 tables were full with both Parisians and tourists. The host was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the duck breast and my husband got the duck confit. Our friends... More

Delicious rustic food, great service and lovely house wines. We visited on a Sunday evening, having booked in advance over the phone, and enjoyed an excellent meal. Of particular mention were the goat's cheese with beetroot entrée, delicious scallops in a provencale sauce and hearty braised pigs' cheeks. The cheese plate was stunning - a tasty selection of St Nectaire,... More

This Restaurant is really the best place where we eat in Paris. The food is unbelievably tasty and looks great! The stuff is friendly and helps to make a good choice. Prices are not high (for Paris). And it works on Sundays till 22-30. Highly recommend!

We visited the reataurant again and were not surprised. The menu did nt change for about 10 years and reached perfection. Ecery one can find what he wants. Servide is great as the owners are on the floor. The food is typical French and not experomental or innovative - this is why we like it. I had the casserole de... More

Lovely little restaurant, serving delicious food. We started with foie gras and a salad of beetroot and goat's cheese, followed by duck and scallops. All were good to very good. Nice bottle of Burgundy pinot noir to accompany these delicacies. Shared a very delicious tarte tatin as a dessert. Mix of tourists and locals; great and friendly service. Not cheap,... More
