Le Pavillon Puebla restaurant in Paris’ stunning Buttes Chaumont park is full of music, light and pleasure. The setting -- right in the park in an historic Second Empire pavilion in the Napoleon III style – would be enough to keep most visitors content. But patron Vincent Cozzoli, who had a long career travelling the world as a professional violinist, has employed his two beautiful musician daughters to fill the air with music. Add in comfortable, traditional décor with Persian carpets, chandeliers and drapery, an inviting shady terrace, and a superb Italian menu and you’ll find Le Pavillon Puebla irresistible. Dishes tend toward the Sicilian with a wide selection of pastas.

Good setting if not too crowded

We had cocktails here. Nice setting if the weather is good, but gets very crowded. The cocktail list is the same as sister-establishment Le Perchoir, a sort of "brand" the group is creating. But something is a bit off: they advertise the cocktails but don't have enough staff to make them properly... read more

Excellent choice. This place is absolutely amazing! We had a perfect diner with a group of friends for my birthday on friday night. Located inside the Buttes Chaumont park, not to far to Botzaris metro station.... The atmosphere was lovely. Excellent service from the minute we stepped through the door. The waitress was extremely nice and helpful which is very rare... More

Perfect location but unfortunately this is one of these French Restaurants where the waiters secretly which to be invisible, by treating the guest the same. There is a very lovely garden area with a Bar, Jazz Music and lounges and if you go through the main building at the back is the dining area which should be avoided at all... More

I went here with friends and had a great time, good music, great cocktails and the nice sharing foccacias. It is a little overpriced, but I guess you are paying for the honour of being there! Get early to find a seat in the outdoor terrace. The main negative point is the fact you have to wait by the kitchen... More

As for me it's a must try experience in Paris (at least I had one). The location is terrific- just in the middle of Parc des Buttes Chaumont this place has an inside dining hall as well as the garden. The chef is Italian crazy nice guy who often comes to check with you on your food and have a... More

Staying in Belleville / Pere Lachaise

Neighborhood Profile
Belleville / Pere Lachaise
At the eastern edge of Paris lies Belleville / Père Lachaise, an understated wonderland of local treasures. Alongside the world-famous cemetery, family-owned delicatessens and cafés nestle between local stores and establishments. The richness of the population here has created a little Chinatown of Asian restaurants, and the area comes to life at night by a funky underground scene. Façades change from one street to another as one passes from white walled provincial homes to tall blocks and reconverted homes. The whole area is an inspirational mix of people from all corners of the world frequented by artists, students, immigrants, and Parisian families. Once home to supporters of the Paris commune, its rebellious nature is now offset by its rural charms.
