On a French friend's recommendation, my family group of four adults stopped here for dinner after visiting the nearby Eiffel Tower. The two staff members we encountered(owners?) argued about whether to seat us in the front along the street windows or somewhere hidden in the back. Anyway, the window guy won out and we were finally seated. The wait staff... More

We had our wedding anniversary here. The menu was only in french however the waiter helped to translate and even did me a single portion of moulles, prawns, and callamari. Lovely. Would definitely recommend. Thanks le pere clsude for a lovely evening.

Nice food, nice staff, small and unassuming. Very close to where our hotel was and suggested by reception, it was our favorite of all the restaurants we went to, good service, but most of all amazingly tasty food.

Amazing brasserie in Paris. The service was really nice, the food is traditional and delicious. You can tell the products are fresh. I will be back!

Throw your cholesterol counts and concerns out the window (or at least don't think about it for one meal). You cannot find anything that isn't meat on the carte. But all the meat were very good and well prepared. I've tried their steak, lamb chop, magret de canard, and they are all good. They also have a bone marrow on... More

I've been here for a family dinner. This place is nice and good, but, in my opinion, is not a star compared to other restaurants I've been in Paris. Food is good and well prepared but I don't think this is the place that will surprise you, both in bad or good direction. Fair bill

A local suggested Pere Claude to us (we cancelled a higher end restaurant reservation for this). We arrived and it seemed like a local place, not too busy and owner cooking. We reserved online, which was easy. Our waiter spoke very little English, which was fine, and we had a great evening. I had a steak with mushrooms and mashed... More

We arrived in Paris on Friday afternoon, after we got our bearings and unpacked we had no idea where to go for dinner. We were staying just around the corner at hotel Ares Eiffel. We asked the reception for their recommendation they said if we liked steak we should go here. We weren't disappointed. We both had the T-bone steak... More

I came here after reading that the poulet roti (roast chicken) at Le Pere Claude was voted in the top 10 places for this dish in Paris. The room had a nice ambiance, and was mainly filled with locals. The oeufs cocotte with creme truffe was very good. The poulet roti was ok, the accompanying mash potatoes were excellent. I... More
