I love Indian food and we have had some nice experiences in other restaurants in Paris, so we decided to take my mother in law to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless, the service was not the best and it was kind of expensive. I would advise you to try other Indian restaurants in Paris!
The restaurant is convenient and beautiful, and the food doesn't disappoint. My spouse and I ordered several different things, and we were not a bit disappointed. When I remarked that I like it spicy, a very robust vegetarian sauce appeared, which was like nothing else I'd ever experienced - or enjoyed. I love Indian and Pakistani food, though I rarely... More
While i walk from office to hotel, couple of indian restaurents are in proximity. I tried this one for over 2 times and quiet disappointed. Chcken punjabi is horrible with big pieces which seems enot fresh and not enough ingredients to make it tasty and also pulau rice is like a plain rice .. Overall i was disappointed with quality... Ambience -- average.. nothing to complain about.. nothing to be excited about... We had the Paneer Makhanwala -- it didn't really have the paneer, but had a different kind of cheese -- whatever it was, it got me asking for more. Breads are good and so it the service. They will try and customize to your tolerance level of spice..
I went to this restaurant with a friend during a week long trip to Paris. We went on the strength of the reviews here. But, I'm afraid to say, it didn't impress at all. The staff seemed friendly enough and gave us a complimentary drink and some poppadoms at the beginning. We ordered the Pakora and the Onion Bhajia to... More
We arrived at about 7:30pm, which is early for dinner in Paris, but we had a film to catch at 10pm. The place was empty except for 2 other people. It filled up quickly though, which is a good sign. We were offered papadums and blue-coloured cocktails. The food was quite good.. The aloo gobi could've had a little more... More
Just around the corner from Gandhi ji's, I found this restaurant that the whole family enjoyed. We were made to feel welcome with a free glass of orange and a round of papadums. The food was exactly what I expected particularly the lamb dish.
We visited this restaurant this evening and the food was amazing. Two entrees, main, rice and cold drinks were $35euro. Definitely recommend for a visit. The only downside to the visit was the air conditioning was not working but they had someone running around trying to get it going. It is 35degrees so we ate and left fairly quickly.
We enjoyed the food, the spice level was appropriate (low medium) and the taste was good. We requested for a chilli paratha and it was good. Maybe next time they shuold add it in thier menu OR you can request for one.
