Best Indian Food in Paris

I have visited this restaurant multiple times and have found all of the dishes well prepared here. The taste is authentic Indian subcontinent taste. The best part is dishes are made mild ,spicy or hot as specified by the customer. I have tried Palak Paneer, Bhindi masala ,mix veg and my friend... read more

Sunday night in Paris. Found this beautifully appointed restaurant. Delicious Indian food. Great staff. Extremely polite and client centred. Great Kingfisher beer and the food was served respectfully and with a smile. Could not wish for a better Indian meal.

Very traditional in decor, nothing glitsy nothing fancy, perfectly acceptable. Staff were very helpful, food is spot on. finished it all, very centrally located without extortionate prices. For non complicated simple Indian subcontinental food that isn't stupidly priced, visit New Balal.

My husband and I have always said the best Indian restaurant outside of India was in London but this one was just as good if not better! There are 3 locations in Paris and we had our wonderful dinner at Rue Taitbout which is right around the corner from the Le Banke Hotel. Service was great, the nan fresh, chutney... More

The food offered in this restaurant may not satisfy Indian food purists, but was excellent for our taste, as we don't seek extremely spicy and hot dishes. Guests are welcomed in the New Balal with a Blue Curaçao cocktail and some spicy appetizers. The menu offers a large variety of Indian and Pakistani food. We had a fish kebab as... More

I love Indian food and we have had some nice experiences in other restaurants in Paris, so we decided to take my mother in law to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was tasteless, the service was not the best and it was kind of expensive. I would advise you to try other Indian restaurants in Paris!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
