So I was told this is a historical restaurant and that so many famous people like Napoleon used to come here. It sounded very impressive so we went ( for lunch) The first impression was nothing special, like many other high end classic restaurants, servers wore tuxedos and service was professional. But the place was just ok, old traditional grandpa... More

Oppulence and grandeur to spare. This restaurant is why Michelin stars were created. Not for the budget traveler by any means, but worth every dollar. The food must only be described by a professional to do it justice. An appetiser of Lobster removed from the shell as if by magic, preceded by a pre-appetiser bite, only the taste of which... More

A historic restaurant 230 years old located at Palais Royal. A three course menu ended up with nine courses. From appetizers to desserts , all are excellent. I picked Monk fish for the main course; it was " refreshingly fresh"....If you love cheese , you will be overwhelmed. If you love dessert, you will be amazed. Wine selection was great... More

This is an exceptional restaurant. The food was magnificent. This was without doubt the best meal that I have ever had. The wines were excellent and sensibly priced. We were looked after perfectly throughout by the polite and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

It has been a couple of months since I was here, but the fabulous memories of this place are extremely vivid. First is the stunning room. A step back in time to an age of old world grandeur. Add in attentive service and excellent cuisine and you have a wonderful dining experience. The service is very good. The dishes are... More

I really only tend to write when I think something is amazing, or terrible. This was one of the best dinners I have ever had. The history of the restaurant alone is amazing, but the staff was wonderful, the decor gorgeous, and food outstanding. DO check their prices before you go as some people seemed to be surprised by the... More

I write on Tripadvisor to ensure the good restaurants rank at the top and the crap at the bottom. I have done 6 michelin restaurant in Paris and Le grand vefour was by far the best. Like a modest millionaire, the waiters dont act like state presidents, food menu is actually understandable, food is delicious and you leave the restaurant... More

Perhaps one of the finest dining experience I've ever had. The atmosphere, tastes, impeccable service....the epitome of Parisienne dining. I will never forget how the foie gras ravioli burst in my mouth with a decadence that I can only describe as orgasmic. Tip: eat it in one bite. Do not cut!
