We felt slightly daunted by the history and reputation of this establishment ,however we needn't have ,this was a first class experience from start to finish . We were warmly welcomed and given the best service we have ever had in a restaurant. The food was exquisite with numerous courses and amuse bouches along the way, however Le Grand Vefour... More

The waiters are extremely nice and friendly. The food is awesome. I especially recommend the roast lamb for main dish. It is full of different flavours and a pleasure to eat.

It's over 20 years since I lived in Paris and hence it must be over 25 years since my one experience of eating at Le Grand Vefour . The restaurant is on the side of the beautiful Palais Royal , just a short distance from Le Louvre in central Paris . The art-deco style hadn't changed but didn't look dated... More

Really exquisite utterly grand !!! It is a legend in a heart of Paris , marveled by Napoleon and after .. Three Micheline stars put it on incomparable and unbeatable level of gastronomy "wizardry" and presentation ! Highly recommend on a very special occasion .

While in Paris 4 years ago, I wanted to splurge on a fantastic meal. After doing research, I landed on Le Grand Vefour. I would absolutely recommend the lunch experience due to the pricing, as well as the decadence and richness of the meal. I personally did not eat for 24 hours, I was so full. I cannot imagine having... More

Great food, pleasant professional staff , in an extra ordinarily historic setting. Sometimes revisiting a special place can be a disappointment, but this was not . standards are high, staff turn over limited and the presentation and quality underpin the reputation. I suggest a visit to the website. Lunch is great value !

Many thanks to the friends who recommended this site. We were greeted by the doorman and maitre de with all due courtesy. This anticipated the level of service and food to follow. Choosing from the lunch set menu, we were treated to excellent food over the several courses. Each course was memorable. We shared our meals so as to extend... More

Excellent restaurant with history, where absolutely every little detail is well thought out. Palace interiors decorated with gold, paintings, leather and wood. The place comprises several spacy dining halls and one smaller room on the second floor, which is just perfect for family dinner or important business negotiations. The menu is menticulously elaborated. The food served was delicious and the... More

We chose the prix fixe lunch as a relatively affordable way to try out a classic French restaurant that is rich on history and atmosphere. We chose the 3 course prix fixe meal, and started out with the best glass of champagne I have ever had. The menu offerings provided enough options for a seafood eater that does not eat... More
