Loved every minute!

Just an amazing experience from start to finish. The food is fantastic and very unique, the setting had us imagining what Paris might have been like 150 years ago (the dining room was far more intimate than I'd imagined) and the service was almost the best part. Its all been written before, but the food and service was amazing, the staff were friendly, efficient, professional and helpful. The food, a work of art, it was everything we had hoped for and more. It was a joy to eat there and be so well looked after.

The adjective speaks for itself. The Grand Vefour is an intimate, rare, unique jewel, a work of art which is beautifully enhanced by the delicious preparations of Chef Guy Martin. Since the place has lived through some of the country's most historical hours and survived to tell the tales (all of which are pleasantly relayed by the Restaurant Director at... More

We had loved le Grand Vefour in a previous visit with the Taitinger family as owners. This time we were placed in an annex with an older, nasty waiter. The menu was a disappointment, the wine list minimal. The service was either old and rude or young and bumbling. The Maitre d' had to put out brush fires of mistakes.... More

Well compatible to its big name. A very nice experience for old school, traditional, high-end french cuisine. Lunch would be a good deal. Menu are all in French but the server can explain everything to you in English very friendly.

Yet again, another visit, another amazing experience, a fantastic meal. This is perfection in a restaurant, from the location, the service, the food, the overall experience. There is a magic feeling about this famed and historical place. While I mostly have had dinner there, over the years, this recent visit was for lunch and perfect. Merci, encore une fois de... More

What a wonderful experience. This was our first Michellin starred restaurant in Paris. This restaurant has a great history and located at the end of the park the Palace. They have been slowly restoring the old world charm of the space, and it feels like stepping back in time. The gilded walls and aged mirrors further the feeling of class.... More

Delicious and exactly what we expected. Service and food was excellent, all the diners wind up chatting with each other which was nice. I inadvertently ordered off the menu but they didn't bat an eye. A very special meal!
