Description: The restaurant's refined decor is a faithful illustration of the Art Nouveau style, with its original mosaics and its crystal Saint-Louis chandeliers a truly Parisian institution located on the Place des Ternes. The head chef prepares a refined, traditional French cuisine using the freshest ingredients. An immensely popular restaurant with both Parisians and discerning tourists, who appreciate beautifully prepared food.

The Cafe looks fabulous and certainly has a great traditional atmosphere that made us feel that we were at a top notch restaurant. The food was well prepared, although a little expensive for what we got. Interestingly, we started with a glass of champagne for me and a Kir Royale for my partner and the cost for these two glassed... More

After a wonderful river cruise to Normandy and 4 days in the city of lights we were looking for somewhere to celebrate our last night and this was it! We had had breakfast a couple of days earlier and saw an open table and took a chance-- excellent meal and service. A table right on the side walk with a... More

It's open 24/7 seven days a week, so if you are ever stuck for a place to go on a Sunday, this is a safe bet for decent food if you are starving and your flight just landed at midnight. The interior is classically art deco and it's been renovated, so it looks a bit fresher. I've been coming here... More

I visited this restaurant in May when I was alone and was so impressed I wanted to take my husband. The food was as amazing as before, the staff friendly and this has become my favourite restaurant in Paris. For any shellfish lovers, the platters look wonderful, sadly i have an allergy to them so couldn't eat those but if... More

Too many reviews call us a tourist trap and I guess it is but I loved The atmosphere, the energy the food , I ordered the seafood platter which was absolutely the sweetest most wonderful seafood I've had in years. It didn't need any sauce. I ordered a similar platter at another restaurant later on with a better review and... More

Did many restaurants in Paris, but we found that this one to be a bit on the expensive side. The food was not too bad, but it was priced a bit too high. Yes things are expensive, but we found restaurant must nicer and with excellent food.

I knew Paris would be expensive and we didn't mind paying crazy prices anywhere else but here. This spot is expensive even for Paris - I mean REALLY expensive - and the service was THE worst. We literally asked for butter 8 times - it became a joke at our table - like surely this time they will give us... More

I have only had the opportunity to sample the "café" side of things here, not always that easy since the place is often crowded, and rightfully so. But if you are tired of racking your brains to order some complicated coffee-derived drink you can be certain that "un expresso" or simply "un café s'il vous plaît" will bring you something... More
