The restaurant's refined decor is a faithful illustration of the Art Nouveau style, with its original mosaics and its crystal Saint-Louis chandeliers a truly Parisian institution located on the Place des Ternes. The head chef prepares a refined, traditional French cuisine using the freshest ingredients. An immensely popular restaurant with both Parisians and discerning tourists, who appreciate beautifully prepared food.

Parisian tradition in a beautiful setting

My third visit here, I like it very much. I thought it would be a good choice for our party of six, us two Brits with four Americans. The restaurant is very beautiful, a feast for the eyes and this Art Nouveau décor is typically Parisian. A lovely setting. Service was pleasant, amenable, but... read more

This is a beautiful restaurant! We had a table in our own little alcove with red velvet chairs. The duck a l'orange was delicious but the crepe suzettes were by far the best we ate in France!

On first impressions, this looked like a fabulous restaurant. Oh how we were wrong!! We ordered wine and the bottle they brought was not what was ordered yet they insisted we drink it. When the bill came, they charged us for the bottle ordered, yet the bottle drunk was FORTY euros cheaper!! They refused to reduce the bill. That was... More

Excellent service, ambience and food. All combined for a pleasant night out in Paris. Found this well known Cafe just a short walk from our Hotel. Staff were attentive without being over the top, food and drinks were on par with any fine dining restaurant. Value for money second to none

A great after hours brasserie with classic french food and well appointed seafood platters. The grand marnier crepes are out of this world and, in this reviewers opinion, the best in paris. Ask for it with a scoop of their bourbon vanilla ice cream.

I would have loved to talk about this restaurant, but I never got served here. We had reservations at 11:00 on a Tuesday night. They were not overly busy, but had a handful of tables seated outside. We were seated immediately. It then took almost 5 minutes for us to get menus. At which time, they were kind of tossed... More

14 euros for an omelette and see the photo for what I got. Slapped on a plate, too salty, too dry, no offering of bread, not even a salad to go with it. Friendly and quick staff is not enough to make it better. This is the worst omelette I have ever eaten. I just don't agree that I got... More

We from the agency Keys for Paris brought the Russian TV-star Inessa Shevchuk and her little sister Eva to this restaurant. We needed a place with no risks about quality, but the result was far better than our most optimistic expectations. The seafood was fresh and soooo tasty! The white wine fresh and so cool! And the special plus was... More

This cafe was recommended to us by a local guide. The food was amazing, especially the snails and of course the oysters. Make sure you try the assorted seafood plates. Prices are ranging from 20 to 60€ for a plate. Definitely recommend!

This place is France. Art nouveau, talkative and funny waiters, well dressed, white napkin, only French cuisine. Go and enjoy.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
