Description: The restaurant's refined decor is a faithful illustration of the Art...
The restaurant's refined decor is a faithful illustration of the Art Nouveau style, with its original mosaics and its crystal Saint-Louis chandeliers a truly Parisian institution located on the Place des Ternes. The head chef prepares a refined, traditional French cuisine using the freshest ingredients. An immensely popular restaurant with both Parisians and discerning tourists, who appreciate beautifully prepared food.

This cafe was recommended to us by a local guide. The food was amazing, especially the snails and of course the oysters. Make sure you try the assorted seafood plates. Prices are ranging from 20 to 60€ for a plate. Definitely recommend!

This place is France. Art nouveau, talkative and funny waiters, well dressed, white napkin, only French cuisine. Go and enjoy.

A long planned return visit and I was somewhat concerned by recent comments on the service from this beautiful establishment. However, we were well cared for by our very tall and most accommodating waiter. Food was as good as ever and all of us were again entranced by this restaurant stunning interiors. Why not 5 stars? Perhaps the cost, which... More

This place was very convenient to our Paris hotel and the tripadvisor reviews about the welcoming atmosphere, decor, and food were encouraging. And in fact, we had a charming table and our meal was delicious. Our issue is with how they handled a problem with our meal. When the glass of wine I'd ordered was poured, there were a handful... Dear guest, We're truly sorry to read about your experience in our restaurant. Indeed, what you describe could be very unpleasant and to change the wine was the very first thing to do. However, we really undertstand the fact that you expected more from our staff and we can only apologize now. Could you come back to us in order... More

We walked into this restaurant rather late in the evening wondering if they were still serving dinner. As soon as we go through the door, before we had even opened our mouths, the Maître D was welcoming us in English and offering us English menus. He takes us upstairs to a beautiful table by a window. We are quickly greeted... More

Dined here with a group and was pleasantly surprised at the lovely 3 course meal we all enjoyed. The decor was typically French with velvet seats. The wait staff were helpful and efficient. The meal servings were generous and the food delicious. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.

Excellent all round. The service was the best I've had in Paris. The food was very nice and the children's options were fantastic. Well done to the staff and management, keep it up and see you on our next visit. If you are reading this review, don't hesitate to try this place, you will love it.

Somewhat touristy .... But welcoming and friendly. It was suggested my concierge at hotel. I thought it was reasonably priced for the seafood they offer. Nice energy throughout restaurant This place has not reached full potential yet.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
