Romain Tischenko, le Top Chef 2010 - Three for Three

My last visit here was spring 2013, but TripAdvisor doesn't allow you to put anything earlier than September 2014. Staff is warm and accommodating. The menu is set; however, they will work with food allergies. Off the beaten path for most tourists and well worth it.

The tasting menu was very well explained in English, where the owner went through lengths to make sure we understood every item of all 7 dishes. Everyone involved seems very passionate in making this a concept a success, once you are in the restaurant, you feel that everything was well thought out and researched. It's nice to see that the... If you are looking for a food experience to excite a jaded palate, this place is for you. After a couple of so so meals in Paris, we had a top but unpretentious dinner thanks to the staff at Le galopin. Setting is a small corner site with wooden tables for 24 covers only. Meal is 7 courses inspired by... More

What do I mean too little? You get seven courses, don’t you? Yes, but it is about the quality of the food, and the imagination of the preparation and presentation, particularly for a prix fixe of €54. Grant you I had some good to very good dishes and some were creative, but when you look back on the entire evening... More

This is a one or two fork place with a star for for food. Recommended by foodie friends of friends who religiously eat their way through Paris every year. Tiny restaurant (24?) in a cheap area in 10e. Don't be put off by the neighborhood. This is where the newer chefs start out. You can get there by metro and... More

When my friend announced that she is taking us for a seven course meal that changes everyday, we were quiet skeptical. But what a pleasant surprise. a seven course meal that was decided at the market that morning. Beautifully plated and full of delightful flavours. An excellent meal for a small price. Will go back again, the next time we... More

Le Galopin is one of the best restaurants in Paris. A lovely neo-bistrot, amazing food and wine, not too expensive (49 euros for 7 course meal). I loved it and i'm going to come again and again.

Excellent restaurant. Visited for a mid week meal one night and had a fantastic meal with excellent food and a great wine choice. Not cheap, but far from some of the exorbitant Paris prices that do exist. Stylish, warm and comfortable, unrushed but excellent service.
