slightly expensive to us but food was very well worth it!

we had the 3 course meal. at 37 euro, it seemed abit steep for us students but still manageable. had the lobster ravioli for starter, duck confit for main and the dessert platter for dessert. the lobster ravioli was very well done and i could taste the fresh lobster within! duck confit was tender... read more

We chose this restaurant from a recommendation in Hungry in Paris, and also because it was within walking distance of our hotel in the Rue Cler district. It was relatively small with just the owner and one waiter taking care of the dining room. Quite a few of the customers seemed to be locals who eat there regularly. We enjoyed... More

The food was great. The host is so friendly and welcoming. In spite of the fact that nearly everyone was American it was still wonderful (I can say this as an American). We did notice that if you come later - 8:30 ish - many of us Americans have left and it seems like local Parisians :)

My son and I spent a week in Paris, and went to this place on Monday night. They do not take internet reservations, and made an exception due to the fact that they were not open between Monday and Friday. We were so lucky to get in. My wife and I had tried on previous occasions to get a reservation... More

Visited in September 2011. The décor was old world, and warm, (I think it has been updated since my visit). Busy but not noisy. The meals were as good as I expected. Entrees, mains, and desserts were all of excellent quality. The waiter spoke good English and the service was fantastic. All our meals were fantastic and we had a... More

Went there for lunch during my stay in Paris. The staff was warm and friendly, making you feel at home when you are at the restaurant. They were able to converse in English which is great cos' I can't speak French. The food was excellent but not overly pricey. Definitely one to go to if you are at the area.

We were the first table seated on a winter Monday at 7. We understand that the gentleman who started taking care of us is one of the two owners. He was very solicitous. We started with the lobster ravioli and the langoustine soup. Both were good, but there was not much taste of lobster in the ravioli- but still tasty.... More

What a great restaurant. Excellent food and staff make you feel at home. You can tell that a lot of effort has gone into creating the dishes. Can't wait to visit again.

After reading other reviews we pre-booked this restaurant for a Valentine's day evening meal. Good job we booked in advance as they were full & had to turn a few people away! We booked on reviews alone but it turned out this restaurant was close to our hotel so worked out really well for us! The restaurant itself is small... More

We were staying nearby and just had a search for local restaurants to sample the gastronomic delights of Paris. Stumbled across this cosy place and wandered in. The staff were very friendly and happy to assist and guide us through the menu for the evening in English. Entree's were great but the mains were the main attraction. The beef cheek... More
