My wife had the Chateau Briand & I has a fantastic fish soup and bass filet. It was all great! The service is impeccable and very traditional. We highly recommend this classic french redtaurant.

My French friend had dinner here before and recommended the place if we were ready for some good seafood. Well, he sure made an excellent recommendation. After our drinks we decided for a large serving of Special 1 oysters, which were large, juicy and tasty. The restaurant has an excellent wine list that matches the food offered very well. We... Every year, when in Paris for a congress, I like going to this pleasant restaurant ! Of course, you are a bit squeezed at your table, but isn't this one of the charms of the parisian brasseries !? The food is absolutely perfect, and always is !, And the freshness of the fish, seafruit, etc.is outstanding ! Oysters, all sorts... More

Staying at a nearby hotel (L'Adresse), we decided to have lunch at Le Congres because the kitchen stays open during the whole day. Staff is extremely friendly and polite, which is rare for a Parisian venue. Waiters did everything in their power to make sure we had it our way. Classic meals which were very good although not extraordinary. Great... More

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Paris. Your typical white table cloth affair in Paris with well groomed waiters serving you in true Parisian style and comical arrogance. I know... that doesn't sound like a great opening line to this place, but it all adds to the charm of this venue which is the biggest attraction to this place for... More

Went with my husband and a group of friends. The food was good enough but not outstanding. What i found strange is how friendly and efficient the staff is. Sure i will go to this resto when i visit Paris again.

Recommended by our concierge because we were looking for a nearby, non posh place for good oysters, this restaurant did not disappoint. We wanted only a very light dinner. We did not make a reservation. It was a Sunday evening. We ordered 6 Special Claire (23.40 euros), 6 Special Imperatric (21 euros), and 5 large Prawns (20 euros), after which... More

we went as a party of 4 recently the staff were fantastic! Unfortunately the food was OK. I ordered the chef specialty of duck but it was tough and chewy! One in our party got the rib eye which was fatty. Even the salmon was just ok! My husband had the filet and stated it was good.

My morning stop prior to seeing the sites. What a fantastic cup of cappuccino!! Sitting outside and enjoying the morning air and the people scurrying by made it even more pleasant.

Food was not hot, fish didn't taste fresh, over priced. We later find much better choices. It was recommended by staff at the Hilton, la Defence on a Sunday night when choices were limited.
