Arriving early evening, on my own, I received a friendly welcome and was seated on the banquette with a good view of the buzzing Porte Maillot street life. The best surprise was the fixed meal on the menu - an aperitif and 4 courses for 36 Euros. I choose 6 oysters for starter and these were nicely served on a... More

Chose this restaurant to commemorate my birthday while in Paris, just before boarding the train to Disney. We picked this one because it was close to our hotel, Le Meridien and there weren't many high end choices around. No regrets, good food and service.

We walked in without a reservation to a friendly welcome. We opted to sit outside which was not a problem The set menu was varied and excellent, perfectly cooked steak, red wine at exactly the correct temperature, good selection of desserts. I had the degustation shellfish repas. Gambas, shrimps, oysters, whelks, beautiful hollandaise sauce, a wide variety of fresh breads,... More

This place has a timeless ambiance and decor that takes you back in time. When lucky you can find small corners for your table for a private dinner. Staff was surprisingly friendly for Paris, available and fast. Food was good and price for the menu (including wine) was good. Overall a good experience.

We ate lunch here on our first day in Paris as it was close to our hotel (Hotel Residence Foch) and it had caught our eye earlier in the day. It turned out to be a great find and was full of locals out for their Sunday lunch. Waiting staff were excellent (and patient with my speaking French). While we... More

The place is the next to the metro entrance. Service was exceptional that is unusual for France. Food was very good however my steak came medium as opposed to requested medium rare.

This was close to our hotel Le Meridien and was recommended to us. We began with the crab appetizer which was grand then the turbot for entree which was beautifully prepared and presented, and my husband ordered creme brulee which was possibly the best I have tasted. Our server was Roberto who did an outstanding job and his delightful personality... More

We kept going back here because it was close to our hotel, and breakfast for 2 and a child was cheaper than for just one person at Le Meridien. Our petit dejeuner contained croissants that were outstanding, freshly squeezed orange juice, lovely bread and great cafe au lait There did seem to be a challenge with getting food to tables... More

We were eager to go to a typical parisian brasserie and ended up going to Le Congres Porte Maillot. We usually go the Montparnasse brasseries but felt like doing something else this time. I have to say that the surrounding is quite pleasant. We were seated on the first floor in those wagon like booth. The place felt old school... More
