Fading slightly but still good.

I have been going to clos de gourmet for at least 10 years. In the beginning it was newly opened and run by a husband and wife team and one professional waiter. That hasn't changed, same people BUT they've lost the sweetness, humor and warmth. The maitre'd took a long time to take our coats, the... read more

We have been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years, whenever we visit Paris, and always enjoy their inventive cuisine. The restaurant is situated very close to the Eiffel tower, but without the masses of people thronging the Eiffel space. Just up the road are a number of delightful buildings, one particularly on the small square Rapp. For this... More

This place caters to locals only. We spent €94.90 for burnt potato chips and rude service by the owner. Too bad because this place was referred to us by a local Parisian. See my review on yelp. Receipt included.

we have come here 8-10 times over the past fifteen years -- whenever we visit Paris. It is by far our favorite restaurant in the city! Not only, is the food excellent, it is a great value at 38 euros for a three course meal. Last night I had the foie gras soup followed by scallops and risotto to die... More

We visited twice so far, as you know, although we are living in Paris, dinner outside is not cheap, so it is important to choose the restaurant where we can enjoy the food going above and beyond and not likely to crush my expectation. This restaurant is definitely one of the awesome restaurants we can invite our true friends without... More

We visited this restaurant which was very close to our hotel (Le Derby Alma) and both are one street away from the Eiffel Tower. We decided to go here based on location from our hotel and also after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. The food here is lovely and there are some very nice French dishes to choose from such as... Had a wonderful dinner here with a good friend last time I visited Paris. For starter I had the mussels without the shell but with delicious "coco" (white) beans, then I had a fish (lieu), and finish I had the apple (reinette, one of the best fr baking) cake. To drink we had a bottle of the côtes du rhône... More

This restaurant was delightful. I have been to Paris three times, and never really enjoyed the food (blasphemy I know). I do not care for desserts, wine and chocolate, so naturally Paris has never been my cup of tea - other than the delicious croissants, of course. THIS RESTAURANT changed ALL that for me. Our hotel, the Marriott Rive Gauche,... More

Dined here with friends and could not have wished for a better experience. A warm welcome - our American friends had dined here some years ago and they were remembered by the owners which heightened the welcome. We started with champagne, then 3 of us had the 38 Euro menu and 1 had the 34 Euro menu - we couldn't... More
