The staff was very friendly and professional. The chef came out to ask opinion of guests - everyone seemed very happy, the food is very good - fusion twist added to traditional French dishes. Great choice of wines and nice cozy atmosphere.

Very friendly service and patient with our struggle to read French and make our decisions. The chef came into the dining room to make sure everyone enjoyed their meals and the servers were genuinely kind and helpful. The food is exciting and delicious. Both of our dishes were cooked to perfection. Every dish from amuse bouche to dessert was divine... More

Went to this restaurant with 5 colleagues on a business trip whilst we were staying in the Mercure Hotel Wagram about 50 yards away (very near the Arc de Triomphe). Nice relaxed atmosphere - cushions on the seats, white tiles on the walls - no rush. We had the set menus which came in French on large boards - thankfully... More

We liked the Café d'Angel for its 'real French bistro' atmosphere. It's clearly popular with locals: everyone else dining seemed to be Parisian. We had a two-course set menu for 28 euros, with a couple of choices only at each course. The dishes were pleasant, though perhaps not as exciting as elsewhere in the area at a similar price. Enjoyable... More

home made cuisine, very creative for a good price / quality level. The chef mixes innovative flavours with traditionnal French cooking. The place was crowded when I went there on a Friday evening, which is a proof that Paris people like it there too. I strongly recommand the dessert " liegoise au chocolat".

We attended Cafe d'Angel in rue Brey last evening and from the moment of entering we were made extremely welcome, given adequate time peruse the menu, and then given a full explanation of the dish & it's accompaniments. The wine list was extremely good & after a beer to quench our thirst, we drank a magnificent Bordeaux red with our... More

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend who lives in Paris and knows good food and the restaurant far exceeded our expectations. We arrived early, 7pm, and were lucky to find a table available since we didn't have a reservation. The food was sublime, the staff were helpful, the wine list was very nice without being haughty, and... More

Our first night in Paris it was very important to us to have a traditional French dinner but we were not in the mind set for a very fancy restaurant.. Cafe d'Angel was the perfect answer we were so lucky to have found. I believe they are even Michelin starred? They were able to accommodate our party of 4 with... More

Dropped in early in the evening and enquired for a table for four later that same night. Luckily they could fit us in and what a memorable evening it was. Service and attention to detail were first class. The evening set menus afforded all of a choice that suited our various palates. Similarly the wine list offered a good choice... More
