Great service, honest real good food and charming ambiance 2 steps away from the Champs Elysées and the Arc of Triumph

The restaurant is tiny, located in a small street close to the Champs Elysées. There was a huge group of people (locals) when we arrived and we were 10 which made me expect the worst in terms of food and service. I was soooo wrong! Not only the food was excellent, absolutely delicious (and I'm... read more

The welcome is standard, no special effort, no special smile, a little bit disappointing. I was early, my friend arrived 20 minutes later, I was taken my coat and installed. We had a vegetable soup of the day (good, yet not warm enough) a daurade, on barely cooked vegetables, healthy food. Everything is nice, nicely presented, yet nothing more than... More

If you're looking for a good restaurant around the Etoile, forget the numerous fast food outlets and head down this narrow street just off Avenue Wagram for a very enjoyable and unpretentious French gastronomic experience. The waiters and waitresses are smiling, speak English and are prepared to take time to explain the various dishes on offer. The ownher/chef is in... More

Had a fabulous meal with my 2 daughters to celebrate my 70th birthday. The restaurant is small and intimate. With excellent service. The menu was small but the quality of the food could not be faulted. The chef spoke to all the dinners after their meal which makes you feel very special. Would recommend Cafe d'Angel if you want a... More

Wonderful freshly cooked amazing food, the caramel salted dessert is the best dessert we've ever had, we almost asked the chef for the recipe! Great service and wine. Small restaurant and not a huge menu but we thought this was one of the plus sides. If you're after some great French food, would definitely recommend a visit.

We sat down to eat at about 7pm and left at about 8pm. There were no other customers in this time so there was not a great atmosphere. The food, however, was excellent. I had the duck which was perfect. The waitress was very helpful and spoke great english. I would like to eat here again and we enjoyed our... More

The staff was very friendly and professional. The chef came out to ask opinion of guests - everyone seemed very happy, the food is very good - fusion twist added to traditional French dishes. Great choice of wines and nice cozy atmosphere.
