Description: Le Cladon restaurant in Paris Hotel Westminster in the heart of the...
Le Cladon restaurant in Paris Hotel Westminster in the heart of the fashionable 2nd arrondissement is a haven of elegance and style. The Hotel was once the private residence of the Duke of Westminster, hence the name. Le Cladons dining room was designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon in recreation of a Regency style drawing room with oriental touches in tones of pale green with luxurious fittings and artwork. Executive Chef Christophe Moisand has created a menu rich in tradition and infused with innovation, using the freshest of seasonal ingredients and a refined touch. Dishes may include Breton scallops flavoured with cazette, and strawberry-poched quinces. The wine list is harmoniously chosen and the service is excellent. Le Cladon becomes Le Petit Celadon at weekends.

Excellent service and very friendly atmosphere. We loved the food, the beautiful presentation and we had a very pleasant evening! At the end of our dinner we even got an amazing chocolate cake and macrons with pink champagne!! We are a family that often eats at restaurants all over the world and this place was super!

We took advantage of an exquisite weekend special (63euros per person with wine) that provided a lovely experience. Sophisticated and elegant environment, marvelous food with creativity and some traditional ingredients elegantly transformed. We were truly welcomed with superior service that was better than the usual reception we have experienced in many French restaurants. A wonderful evening!

Nice restaurant. Did not feel it was Michelin quality. Atmosphere lacking as was the service. Nice to try one time.

Wow - 5 courses including wine and coffee for €62 a head? What an absolute bargain - a fabulously classy dining room, respectful staff, very well created dishes and lovely accompanied wines. I simply cannot understand why there isn't a queue down the road to get into this place at the weekend - its a 1 star experience for a... More

Every time we spend a Sunday in Paris, lunch at Le Petit Celadon is a top priority. Centrally located, between Place de l'Opéra and Place Vendôme, in the exclusive Warwick Hotel, the prestigious one-star Michelin Le Celadon, relaxes and becomes Le "Petit" Celadon for a less formal dining experience. At the time of this writing, Sunday lunch was € 63... More

This is a small and cozy restaurant with excellent service and food. Le Celadon is a one star rated Michelin restaurant. If staying at the hotel, they also serve breakfast in this luxurious setting.

Very traditional restaurant offering 2 or 3 course set menus on weekends. Wait staff pleasant, probably more 'establishment' clientele than I normally prefer, but a quiet agreeable ambience in which to lunch with an elderly friend. Probably not a place I would return to in future

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Paris. I have eaten here repeatedly over the past 15 years. However, it is time to move on. The dining room remains as gorgeous as ever. Le Celadon is wonderful. Lunch, in particular is an excellent value during the week - or, even better, the weekend. It becomes Le Petit Celadon and is a little less formal in feel. I've been there many, many times and not one disappointment.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
