Le Buisson Ardent, which means ‘Burning Bush’, from the biblical term, is a thoroughly contemporary restaurant in terms of food. Very good quality, and not too pricey. If you are a serious foody, as we are, you will love your dinner at Le Buisson Ardent. The selection is decent and you will find it difficult to choose from the excellent... More

it is sometimes a challenge to find a good location for lunch on a Sunday in Paris due to the early closing or indeed not being open at all. Le Buisson Ardent close to the Sorbonne area and Seine was excellent. Fixed price three course interesting menu with Duckling, Veal in a caserole Salmon, Soup, with three optiions for each... More

We had a great dinner, what a great bistro in the rive gauche! This bistro is run by the owners who passionately serve their clients with great spirit All plates that we got, were above expectations Great option in Paris

Trip advisor did not fail us again... but without a reservation we sat on the patio as a cold front blew through. The Veal was an exceptional choice served in a cast iron pot like a stew on this cool night! Service was excellent as well and the desert sublime. Call ahead for reservations if temps below 60 degrees! But... More

Recommended by hotel. Staff really pleasant and restaurant itself homely which meant that as a couple we found ourselves on quite a small table and close to other punters, so much so that we had to move a chair to let the waiter service another table. That's the downside. The food was of a high standard and came fresh and... More

We adored our waiter. Sadly it was his last week. The food was delicious. The beef, buttery; the table red wine was terrific. Fabulous cheese plate served with greens. Cold soup served to every diner at the beginning of meal was delicious. We returned for a second dinner and they had changed this up. Both were excellent. Would definitely come... More

I ate here last year and gave a rave review - great value, stunning food. This year? I'm guessing there has been a change of head chef, and (based on experience in recent months) that the French are becoming…… American/British. Don't get me wrong - this is still a good place to eat and the standard of service has if... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff , so we just went along to see if they had a spare table, actually arrived 10 minutes before they officially opened , but the friendly waiter let us in , and luckily had a spare table, if we had arrived 30 minutes later we would have been turned away. Ordered the... More

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant with it's new chef. the menu jumped in price considerably, and my expectations with it. Perhaps it's August, but bright green food coloring in the 'almond' flavored desert creme was a huge error, especially since it was so subtle as to be tasteless. That and the interminable wait for bread and water,... More
