A quaint little bistro in St. Germain serving very, very good bistro food at a very keen price. Diners are packed in, which adds to the atmosphere and the waiter was attentive and friendly. We had no reservation, but he seated us quickly. The menu is in French and English. Starters sampled included the lentil salad with bacon lardons and... More

The thing I remember most about this meal besides how good the food was, is how friendly and inviting all the staff was. The staff really made you feel welcome and helped with all questions.

I'm giving Le Bistro a three star review because the service/comfort level was poor, but I'm leaving room for the "great" food that we never had! I apologize for the length of this review, but it is regrettably accurate. Prior to our trip, I had anticipated some "difficulty" in Paris...perhaps getting lost, perhaps getting an unfriendly welcome because of my... More

This is yet again another very small and intimate restaurant. The owner and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They have both English and French menus. They happily translated the specials of the day. All the food for our group was awesome. Great recommendations for wine as well. One the least expensive meals for our trip and one of the... More

I went there with my wife this evening and had a wonderful time. We got there right at 7 when they opened and they gave us a table even though we did not have a reservation. We shared a salmon appetizer, then I had duck fillet for main dish while my wife ordered grilled lamb chop. Both were delicious and... More

We ate early at Le Bistrot d'Henri, our first night in Paris, so we were among a number of tourists, including a couple who'd decided to eat here for two nights in a row because it was so good. We had a seasonal special, white asparagus with viniagrette and the salade gourmandise, both very good, then two specials -- pork... More

I have to start out by saying this was the best chocolate mousse I've ever had in my life. I fear that I can no longer order chocolate mousse anywhere else in the world because it will never live up to the dish I've had here. I believe we found this restaurant on TripAdvisor, and walked over from our hotel.... More

We had a fantastic meal here on our first night in Paris! The place is teeny tiny but full of charm. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We had salad, coq au vin, chateaubriand, and topped it off with chocolate mousse. Everything was delicious, and the prices, with a bottle of wine included, were very reasonable. I would highly... I'd read some reviews of this restaurant and recommended to my friends (who live in Paris) that we go there for dinner. We had an amazing dinner! I had the Beouf Bourguignon, my mother and our friend had the slow cooked lamb, and my other friend had the duck. They were all superb! I would go back in a heartbeat!... More

We have been to Paris three times. This restaurant was the best experience we have had in the city. It is why you go. Very small with perhaps 30 seats. The staff was fun, entertaining and genuinely happy to help us. The food was " perfect". Wine was fabulous. All were reasonably priced. We are going back in two days.
