Description: This bistro is a concept-restaurant that honors French cooking and hospitality with an all-inclusive 3 courses, house aperitif, half bottle of wine each and coffee for €36 per person. Bistro du 17eme restaurant in Paris near the Place du Marechal Juin is a typically Parisian brasserie with great style and ambience. Their menu includes the highlights of traditional French cuisine: cassolette of a dozen snails, roast rack of lamb with rosemary jus and gratin potatoes, Grand Marnier flambeed crepes. The elegant decor recalls the graceful 1930s with a glassed-in terrace, oil still lifes, panelled walls, Chesterfield banquettes, niches with nubile statuary. Service is devoted and the experience tres typique.

Nice restaurant, very busy with most tables occupied; food was extremely good and fixed price dinner menu good value for money - €44 for three courses and wine. Service got worse and worse though as the restaurant progressed; attentive at the start when not that busy - and then waitress all but disappeared when the restaurant became packed. Had to... More

We went here on a Sunday. Perhaps they were having a busy day however we were not at all overwhelmed by their service. However, the linguine dish was very good. Otherwise, not amazing in comparison to other bistro experiences in Paris

A very nice restaurant that will cater to your needs. Provided an English menu and some English speaking staff which took the effort of ordering out of the process. Nice menu featuring some excellent French cuisine.

Me and my new fiancée went to this restaurant last night. We ordered off the set menu which was €44 each. With that you got bread appetizer, a starter, main and dessert, along with a bottle of wine, and a glass of rose sparkling wine to welcome you. The food was fantastic and the waiters and the staff there couldnt... More

a great traditionnal parisian brasserie just a few steps from Arc de Triomphe ! the all inclusive menu is a must famous in the neighbourhoud. Cuisine home made and the chef was at the Fouqet's. The starter was twelve Brugundy Snails and my husband had a scottish salmon. For the main a huge Sole prepared in front of us and... More

As we have stayed for the second time at hotel Ampere (lovely hotel), I insisted that we visit this bistro, as it's so close to the hotel... Shouldn't have done so. Even though the bistro is busy every night, don't be fooled. The service is outrageously bad. We had a €44 menu x 2. My starter arrived around 45 min... More

What a joke! Me and my father traveled to paris to visit his cousins and their family's, so we chose to all meet at this restaurant because of the fixed menu and positive reviews... What a mistake!!! We were 12 people in total and we didn't get any service at all until an hour after we sat down, we waited... More

I have just returned from a weekend of horse racing at Longchamp. Needed somewhere within walking distance of the hotel for dinner on Friday evening, and couldn`t have picked a better place. Great atmosphere, pleasant English speaking serving staff and quick service. The food was rather nice as well. I was so impressed that I decided to return again on... More

We should have sat inside. The people inside seemed to be being served and getting food. My colleague had some romantic illusion of Parisian cafe society. Bad move. Service was glacial. It might have been that we are Brits, but they gave us a UK menu, so they obviously don't hate us. We also sat between two loved couples who... More

I lived next door for months before I finally met a guy nice enough to treat me to the restaurant I'd walked passed every day for months, envying those people eating that mouthwatering food. The atmosphere was perfect, the staff incredibly professional and welcoming and wow... The food. Yes, it's expensive but boy can they do a steak tartare. We... More
