not my favorite gourmet macaroon place in Paris

This place is very nice, very fancy, with many colors and flavors of macaroons. In my opinion, however, you can find some that are just as fancy with a bit more flavor and less fussy. Best Macaron ever. Lots of calories, but worth it. Better if you run 1 hour around Sena or Tuileries Gardens before you go there. And eat one... per day!

We stopped in for coffee and pastries which were excellent. The place is quite beautiful, we sat downstairs in the conservatory part but could have sat upstairs in the very beautiful dining area. Even the toilets are impressive! Do buy some macarons to take home.

Pros: Excellent location, great food quality, very nice atmosphere. Menu choices are fantastic. One of the best places in Paris for great breakfast and excellent pastries. Hostess were very welcoming. Cons: Horrible service, we were a party of 4 and half of us got served and we had to wait for 20 minutes for the reminder of the food to... More

A really lovely place but weak, near tasteless tea which was very surprising . Choice of cakes was extensive & the 2 we chose were rich & very special. Prepared for it to be an expensive afternoon treat with its positioning but felt let down by the tea. Coffee maybe a better alternative.

We were suggested by everyone to have a jot chocolate at " Laduree" and so we did! Everyone was right as this was the best chocolate we had ever taste, real chocolate. We also had a delicious mile-feuille. The decoration was very warm & cozy, and we had a view of the Christmas illuminated Champs-Elysee. Definitely must visit in Paris!

Laduree is a welcome reprieve from the general commercial nature of the area that takes you back to a more gentile time. You have the choice of sitting upstairs or downstairs. Downstairs is more casual and busy-feeling where you are sitting street level in a terrace like setting. Upstairs is much more luxe with carpeting, wood paneling and traditional lighting... More

Had lunch. We were a group of 6. We ordered the Croquet Monsieur and I cannot recommend it to anyone. It was like a pastry roll without any taste and to pay 19euros for that seemed unreasonable. We got our orders at different times. For a place like this they should really update the service and menu.
