Really good but not cheap

Great breakfast, not cheap (to say the least). We sat on the bar (really nice, not disturbing at all + don't need to wait in line) and ordered tea, coffee, chocolate croissant and French toast. Whether you love or don't love desserts, you will love these! These are undoubtedly the most delicious desserts and macarons I've tried. Take a Laduree dessert to the top of the Eiffel Tour and buy a champagne to properly indulge!

Huge line ups to buys confections that are inferior to anything you can buy in the back streets of good restaurants in Paris. I guess it has become a "must" similar to see the arc or the tower but for good eats try not to! You don't want to come to Paris and have a check list that includes this... More

We had lunch here - little sandwiches and tea or cafe; they also had omlettes and hot meals. They were good and came with a salad and huge, thick french fries. You can either order dessert here or go next door for take away.

It just had that over priced snob vibe where you just can't relax and you leave more hungry than when you came in and a damn sight poorer too. Very tourist and busy, not a nice experience but the one macaroon I had for 2 euros 60 was nice.

We visited laduree on a rainy night for some tea and dessert. First off, the place itself is gorgeous. Even the bathrooms are beautiful and decorated with large oil paintings. Staff was attentive and polite. We ordered tea and 4 macorons. Laduree's rose macoron will always be my favorite.

I do not take this review lightly but the title just sums it up. I was happy to $40 AUD for an ommlette but it took 1 1/2 hours to come out and it was uneatable. Everyone elses meals were no better. The waiters were snotty and rude and it took so long that we asked for the kids macaroons... More

We dined in Laduree for breakfast each morning of our last trip to Paris, which felt like a luxury but was actually half the price of having breakfast in our hotel. The beautifully decorated dining area has a really special feel to it, and is complemented by fantastic service. The patisseries were of course exquisite, but the breakfast was equally... More

I should in fairness say at once that I write on this occasion primarily for the information of my fellow Australian visitors to Paris. I lunched at the Rue Jacob branch today. It is my final day of my current visit to Paris and I thought that a nice lunch would be appropriate. Two of the reception staff at the... More

Very popular. The hall is busy and noisy. But the stuff at bar is nice and patient. The tea offered is dried leaves instead of tea bags. Pastries are good. Had raspberry pie and hazelnut puffy pastry. The decoration is very beautiful
