tasty mussels and frites

Freshly prepared moules frites which is always clean and has tasty wine and garlic sauce. At nice tourist locations throughout Paris. Never been disappointed.

This restaurant serves great Moules and Frites for a great price. Waiting staff are friendly and very helpful. My only criticism would be that we ordered off of what we thought was the set price menu but this was only available for the Marinara Moules and Frites which the waiter did not explain at the time. That being said food... More

I last experienced " Leon de Bruxelles " go back to 18 years... Old restaurant chain recognised for its mussel card and its affordable prices. How to begin... A decoration not enough old to be retro and fashion but enough to want to scratch you and regret your polarise sunglasses:Yellow and acarid green. The service) is rare thus agitated and... More

I can understand why experiences of Leons vary - it is a large restaurant with many covers per day and lots of waiting staff. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the efficient, quick service. Like the mussels, the fish was very good, as was the prawn starter. Options of different sized wine carafes were particularly... More

When in Paris I always eat at Léon as I love moules. If you like mussles this is the place. The restaurants look more or less the same everywhere so there's no difference. I have never experienced any quality difference between the restaurants either (have visited Champs Elysées, Pigalle, Bastille and République branches). Will continue to go there. Ambiance is... It was my sons 8th birthday, he loves mussels and boy did we pick the perfect place for dinner! Our concierge called ahead for reservations, they were booked but agreed to accommodate us for 4 within a half an hour. We showed up early and the table was ready for us! Great staff, excellent choice of different styles of mussel... More

Really enjoyed my visit here. As previous reviews have stated the service is fast and efficient, and most definitely value for money. Being a big fan of Mussels this was perfect for me, there was a choice of 7 or 8 different sauces, I tried the Moules a l'Ardennaise on my first visit and it was enough to make me... More

Leons is always on my list for mussels. Always meets expectaions of just good food. Nothing fancy. Like the options and selections.
