Description: "The kitchen is a place which gets together women and men, wine-growers, market gardeners, fishermen, farmers, all passionate about their trade and customers looking for authenticity. It is our constant challenge to dress, accommodate, cook, and present a coherent "cuisine" inspired by various experiences and meetings. This is how our team invite you to share this moment with honesty and a warm welcome." Jean-Christophe Rizet, chef de cuisine

The white truffel season, truly a bliss! I had the Truffel menu with the wine menu. The signature dish (oxtail) was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant is very cosy.

We were fortunate to enjoy dinner at the restaurant twice in one week - first of all as host of a larger group for business (10 people) and then a few days later a quiet dinner for my wife and I. On both occasions the food and service were impeccable. The amuse bouche(s) - yes there were several - are... More

We travel to Paris often and heard from friends about La Truffiere and the great experience they had there. So we booked days in advance and were full of excitement on arriving and being guided down the stairs to dine in the Cave. The ambiance was sensational in terms of history and architecture, however the pushy attitude of the wait... More

We met some friends there and went for the prixe fixe lunch with wine which was 50euro each. Once I got over the disappointment of no truffles in the menu I really enjoyed what I ate. There are 3 choices for each course. I went for the salmon starter. I don't eat meat but do eat fish. I was going... More

My turn to organise city trip. I lived in France for 15 years, so Paris was the city to visit. 4 days, 3 nights, minimum one Michelin Star restaurant. One thing we discovered, many people who use trip advisor do not go to Michelin Restaurants, or we do not understand what a low rating this restaurant had. The service was... More

It was not the truffle season, what is disappointing given the restaurant's name. The main room is and old gothic style cellar and the service is efficient and warm. good menu and thorough wine list. The price is over the category's average

Really excellent food. Was so good, came back again. Food was consistently good. Price is good for the prix fixe lunch menu. Dinner can be pricey. The service was very attentive perhaps for me a bit too much. Portions are somewhat small but I guess this is a Michelin starred restaurant. Well worth the effort walking here from the Metro.

This restaurant seems to care about their food. We ordered the Truffles tasting menu, which was expensive and we had high expectations. Most of the dishes met our expectations, but the fish on our plates was not firm and seemed not to be fresh. The good news is that the sous chief can out to hear our fish issues. We... More

I was looking forward to going to this restaurant. I really like truffles and I was impressed by the Michelin star. I was also happy to get a reservation relatively easily. I like to go to nice restaurants, even by myself. I was seated in the windowless former wine cellar - it's quaint, perhaps cozy but I felt pretty claustrophobic.... More
