This restaurant is a once in a lifetime experience. The truffles, their claim to fame, hence the name, were freshly grated at the table and the foods that would be complemented by them were recommended. The wine selection and sommelier were super and the food was beyond excellent.

1 star restaurant. Very nice experience. Served with 2 appitizers from the house. Chose Pigeon and fish and amazingly cooked. Desserts are also excellent. Gifts given to my girlfirend. Highly recommendable.

The attention to details in the restaurant is wonderful. They would not allow my wife to put her purse on the floor - it required a stool. The staff is highly skilled - each having a specialty. For example, the waiter responsible for cheese is responsible only for cheese. The food was beautifully prepared. Here's the rub - I guess... More

The GOOD: - Food. Excellent food, all courses were so well thought through and had interesting flavour combinations (what's the point of a Michelin star restaurant if it delivers only well executed but uninspiring dishes?) - Service. Very attentive service, but without being snobbish or pretentious at all, which in my experience of Paris is not a given - Ambiance.... More

Excellent food, wonderful wines, cosy small room, excellent service. A bit expensive but you do remember your evening. Perfect for a romantic and quiet diner

Over a period of several years to 2008 I took many friends here for lunch to show them a memorable French dining experience. Back in Paris after 5 years, I was delighted to find that what made it a great experience had not changed. The prix fixe lunch is currently EUR 38, which gives 3 exquisite courses with good bread... I went to this restaurant with business colleagues. We chose the "truffe" menu and some wines. The food was very good but the overall price was at the level of a 3 Michelin stars which is not at all the level of this restaurant. The place is an old Paris downtown house, the section is in the very center and... More

The food is very good, although there is an excess of truffles. We were even offered macaroons with truffles as a small gift with our digestifs. The chef is clearly adventurous. Sometimes, as with our starters, that pays off; at other times, as with our mains, there was an excess if invention that led only to a deficit in taste.... More

The service was impeccable and every time I asked for more of their delicious bread, I got a smile - which matters. And even the basic meal was very nice and well rpesented. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
