"The kitchen is a place which gets together women and men, wine-growers, market gardeners, fishermen, farmers, all passionate about their trade and customers looking for authenticity. It is our constant challenge to dress, accommodate, cook, and present a coherent "cuisine" inspired by various experiences and meetings. This is how our team invite you to share this moment with honesty and a warm welcome." Jean-Christophe Rizet, chef de cuisine

Six courses anniversary diner, good experience

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and had the 135 € diner with the ‘prestige’ wine pairing. This is a six course dinner with truffle in at least 3 different plates, which for us was plenty since truffle are very aromatic. Personally, I would not do the full truffle diner, but... read more

Great place to enjoy truffles in Paris. Off course the diner is expensive, but great truffle is never cheap in Paris. In terms of experience: - very nice personnel, perfect timing and good advice - we tasted the lobster, foie gras, parmentier; all excellent - wine list is amazing and the sommelier is great - better keep some space for... This is a Michelin star rated restaurant and I was eager to try it. Overall, pleasurable. The oxtail over mashed potatoes was excellent, and the desserts were gorgeous and delicious. I especially liked the wild strawberries in chocolate surrounded by a red sugar shell. Foie gras was good, but I have had much better. Interesting combinations and beautiful presentation. Not... La truffiere (truffle finder) is in the 7th on the left bank. Young crowd and neighborhood....but this is a one star Michelin that earns its stars. Truffle butter, truffle pecorino cheese....and even truffle suffle (delicious). If you are serious about truffles...this is the motherlode. Great service. Wine list was almost a big as a Bible.....but they had the Puligny Montrachet... More

Friendly staff, romantic setting and fabulous food. Pricey, but worth it to celebrate a special occasion.

Top service! I love the little "tabouret" for lady's bag. It is so sweet. The menu of midi is very nice, not too much, not too few, just fine. Good taste, I think it is worth to try at least once. The liste of wine is very rich, we found good wine with less interesting price.

We have visited this restaurant some years ago because of the "bib gourmand" it had received and it was very very good. Now the quality of the dishes was still very good but paying 115 Euros for a "simple" menu is far too expensive. Too many waiters around and above all, the impressive wine "bible" contained many good wines but...... More

The restaurant was a 10 minute walk from our hotel, and we chose it for reviews, the menus and the cave-like quality of the main room. We opted for the a la carte menu (there were tasting menus also): we were both extremely happy with our choices. The service was faultless, friendly and extremely professional. It was a really good... More

save your money. Do not go. It is a trap. The person from Michelin than gave one star must be fired. Food was just below any reasonable standard.

This restaurant is situated in an exciting part of Paris, the St Germain district. It's a small, but very romantic setting. The food is creative and exceptional. Ignore reviewers complaining about the portions, the cuisine is rich and plentiful in flavour and won't leave you empty. I had the pleasure of a tour of the cellar on my last visit,... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
