We were a very large group that had a separate room for a special event. Several in the party were vegetarians or had other special diets, one was allergic to fish. So at La Tour D'argent they manager to serve Fois Gras to some of the vegetarians, fish to the person with fish allergies, when the issues were raised with... More

My husband took me to dinner here on our trip to Paris. He remembers this restaurant from the old days. I am sorry to say it didn't hold up to his expectations. Myself as a vegetation have learned to just enjoy the experience as the food will not be impressive usually, and in case was not. But it is a... More

What can I say, except for Spectacular. Le canard au sang was spectacular. Lots of delicious details throughout the evening. Service was one of the best we ever had, great recommendations and paring of wines and offered a delicious sauternes with our desserts. Truly the treat of the year.

I love the atmosphere, the view of the river, the exquisite balance in decoration and the food, well it ranks amongst the top of the world. I have eaten here over 7 times and tried something different every time. Everything is cooked to perfection. The signature dishes that have made this a "must visit" restaurant are amongst the best i... More

An exceptional restaurant, with attentive staff from the moment you enter the door. Impressive views across the River Seine and the lunch menu is good value at €85 per person with the added free extras, which are a nice touch. Made a birthday treat that little bit more special. The wine menu is the largest and most expensive I've ever... More

Having enjoyed meals in a number of top restaurants, this is easily one of the best, with amazing views of Notre Dame. A very formal setting, you know it will be special (and expensive) the moment you enter on the ground floor, but a great experience. The food is terrific and the degustation menu well worthwhile, with a wine list... More

As a child, I heard the Tour d'Argent was the best restaurant in the world. Each visit to Paris, I would dream of eating there. Finally, this time my wife and I treated ourselves to this extravagance and were not disappointed. The lunch was excellent. The view and all other features were memorable. At 265 Euros, not a cheap lunch... More

La Tour d'Argent has a long history in Paris. As such, it is a place to visit in itself. Their wine cellar is one of the finest in the world, and a true experience to read the wine guide. The style of cooking is classic&traditional French. Went in to eat with my wife and had a really good visit. The... More
