A fantastic experience!

The food is fantastic. Classic french cuisine. The whine list got it all! The sommelier give you a very competent and helpful hand. The view over river Seine and Notre Dame is absolutely stunning. If you got the money, just go there and enjoy the dinner of your life!

From the moment we entered the front door to the moment we left, the La Tour D'Argent delighted all senses, sights, smells, tastes and overall lifetime experience. We made a reservation a month in advance and dutifully confirmed two days ahead with the hotel for a luncheon experience priced at 85 euors per person. But once there, how could one... More

If you are in Paris you must come here. Incredible dishes and desserts of The Modern French cuisine. Beautiful view on Sena and NOTRE DAME de PARIS. Those who love Onore de Balsac`s books can eat in his favorite restaurant.

Dining at this restaurant is a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is so enjoyable - tables aren't close together, view of Notre Dame, pleasant surrounding. The duck is a must! If you have the opportunity, ask to visit the wine cellar - over 400,000 bottles!

I had a bit of time at the end of a business trip and was recommended this place as a "world famous" restaurant. Naturally, I had to try. I walked in at 11:45 am and the security next door was kind enough to call on my behalf to see if they had room for 1. They had. And I could... More

I made a reservation at the restaurant for 28 Feb 2015, two months in advance and paid a deposit of EUR200, as visiting the restaurant is part of my plans to my Europe trip. On 26 Feb 2015, I emailed Mr Rousseau, the restaurant manager, to say that I wonder if the appointment can be moved to 2 March 2015... More

My husband and I dined here on our recent trip to Paris. The restaurant is on the banks of the Seine, with lovely views of the Notre Dame-but you don't come here for the views! The food is superb and very traditional French cuisine. The house specialty is duck, as you'll find out from the abundance of foie gras, duck... More

Since 1991 I have eaten at this once iconic temple of gastronomy. I have witnessed its long drawn out decline from 3 Michelin stars to one very shaky Michelin star. The cuisine is tired and crying out for someone to take a firm grip on things.Yes, there is a magnificent wine list but at prices that are astronomical. The head... More

Having been to La Tour d'Argent for diner last time, this time we decided to visit for lunch. They offer a lunch menu but the A La Carte is always available, as is their full wine list. As this was for a special occasion, we chose à la carte the Canard au Sang, as we did last time and chose... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
