Simply great food, large portions, and excellent service.

Service is professional and polite. The food which is all homemade is excellent. We dined here twice while in Paris both our meals were excellent! We had the beef, fish and chicken and all were excellent!!!!

We have visited this small restaurant several times over the past few years - and this time was no disappointment. the Maitre d' is charming, the ambience relaxing and the food much more than satisfactory. I ate pea soup followed by pork tenderloin - my wife chose salmon - very satisfactorily. In particular the soup was excellent. We finished by... More

Wonderful restaurant near our hotel in Paris. Fantastic french food (highly recommend the green bean salad, fois gras, chicken and duck) served at a well-priced prix-fixe menu. Ate at Michelin-Star Jules Verne the day before and enjoyed Rotisserie d'en Face much more. Good food, good service, all in a wonderful and quiet setting.

The location is very convenient for anyone on the left bank/St. Germain des Pres are. We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The restaurant itself is bright, clean and well organized. The service is excellent and very personal. The menu is simple, straightforward and very good. The poulet fermier (hot or cold) with whipped potatoes is... More

When there is a heat wave look for places that are air conditioned. This place is air conditioned and very good. If you have never been to Paris before you probably won't feel like it is very Parisian but it is a lovely place with very good food and service. It is very clean and sleek looking inside. Our family popped into this restaurant for dinner around the corner from our apartment on our recent stay in Paris. It was a pleasant looking restaurant with a menu that met our needs. Although we didn't have reservations, there were open tables in the front room, but when we were seated, the host opened up the doors to the empty... More

I have been visiting this restaurant for 15 years and the service and food has always been consistently 5 stars for me and our group. Known for the rotisserie chicken with mashed potatoes- it has a very straightforward menu with something for every palette. Simple dishes done to perfection, delicious home made bread and desserts. The service is polite and... More

Just an amazing experience in one of my favorite french restaurant in paris. Come with some friends and they will become best friends, cause the products served and the service is just excellent! Go there with closed eyes and attentive buds.

My husband and I had been to this restaurant years ago with several other couples and were delighted to find it still there. We treated ourselves to a fine dinner - with fine wine. I had frogs legs and sorry to say, forget what my husband had but it wasn't that. We loved our dinner. The service was impeccable. The... More

This restaurant was recommended quite highly, but I found the cuisine somewhat ordinary while a bit pricey.....in Paris you can do better very easily! Ron H.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
