This restaurant is quite small so it is well worth booking in advance. The only downside would be that the tables are quite close together so on arrival it is a little bit of a squeeze to get to your seat. Apart from that the food is delicious & service outstanding; I recommend the risotto with langoustine, garlic and truffle... More

I have written reviews for this restaurant before but every time I go there I feel the need to rave about it again. As soon as I book a stay in Paris, booking La Regalade is the first thing I do. I generally book at least a month in advance to be sure of a table in this tiny restaurant... More

We were accompanied by some parisian friends who thought we should discover this restaurant ! It is a typical french brasserie, a tiny place filled with as many customers it will hold ! Which means you are seated at small tables, eating a bit like in economy class flights, with next table's neighbour's elbow almost in your chest...! But is... More

La Regalade is consistently delicious - and love the "famous original" location off Rue d'Alesia (near some great antique shops) vs the hipper 8eme one. Our meal was great and our waiter was lovely (and bemused by a trio of chowhound Americans who spoke French).

In my opinion, La Regalade is one of the finest restaurant in all of Paris. The food is freshly prepared and presented beautifully. Make reservations well in advance, Regalade is not open on the weekends.

Ate so much we could hardly walk! Everything was so good, from the terrine that we are first served upon arrival, to the dessert. Set dinner menu was Euro35 - great value for the kind of food we got! Restaurant is quite old-fashioned, but cosy and homey. Saw some Japanese tourists - La Regalade must have been written up in... More

We really enjoyed this local restaurant with few tourists. We almost felt Parisian. The set menu is the way to go for 35 Euros. They immediately bring you a basket of bread with a terrine of fois gras - to die for. Be careful however not to fill up on that as you will miss the rest of a great... More

Sadly doesn't live up to the hype. The room is uncomfortably crammed and the staff unattentive. The food is not at all bad but it's average bistro grub and not as good as the owners think it is. Disappointing

Rice pudding is amazing! I would only recommend that dessert. We didn't like our other dessert which was a vanilla souffle I think. The foie gras is amazing with bread they bring to your table at the start of your meal. I also recommend the risotto dish for an appetizer and veal for main course.

Came here recommended by a friend and we were not let down. The service was outstanding, the food delicious and cooked to perfection. The 35 Euro set menu was excellent value, the wine list also very good. You must try the Terrine and the Grand Marnier Soufflé is to die for! Overall wonderful evening..
