Wonderful French restaurant

A group of five of us went here for dinner after work. It is a small place so reservations are necessary. Service was good and the food was delicious. Menus are in French. We had the fixed price menu (37 euros) and a few of us had substitutions which had a small additional price. Everyone... read more

First of all you need a reservation, it's a small place and always full. We went for the pre fix menu - the escargot as started was excellent, went for the sea bream as main course which was fresh and flavorful, went with rice pudding per recommendation by the staff and it didnot disappoint . Portions were good and service... More

If you are looking for an authentic French bistro, go here. The food is fantastic. The staff are very accommodating. The tables are a bit close (but so are all Parisien Bistros), but the ambience is great – if not perfect. They start you with a deep dish of pate that you eat as much as you like and cornichons... The food was tasty and although there is a fixed menu at 37€/person there are a lot of choices. For once it worths it but generally, I found it expensive and for tourists so as to discover the traditional French cuisine. The staff was very friendly!

Reservations highly recommended or you won't get a seat. Really delicious, worth every penny! The "menu of the day" is a great value for money however everything looks, smells and sounds so delicious so it was difficult to stay with the suggested "menu". We went based on a suggestion by a French colleague who is from Paris. There are so... More

I have almost lost count of the number of times we have eaten at la Regalade. We only go once a year, in January when we go to Paris for my birthday. I always book at least a month in advance so as to be sure of a table and confirm my booking the day before. Be aware that the... More

If you are looking for a restaurant which serves "typical" or authentic French contemporary food, this is a good place to go. I have eaten here several times and keep going back because the food is very good. The restaurant is small, noisy and busy. You are almost sitting on your neighbor's lap. You go for the food and the... More

First impression very kind personal. But...The tables are so close to each other and you cannot relax eating the delicious food. Without reservation we couldn't find table All in all it was expensive but for once it worths it!

If you aren't already in love with the food in Paris, you need to have a meal at La Regalade. Note, I would encourage you NOT to use the tripadvisor online booking system as it is a third party system and we used it thinking that our reservation had been confirmed but really they have to check with the restaurant... A small chef restaurant, we were lucky to get a table without reservations and were very happy for it! They sat us in front of the kitchen so we got to see the cooks at work. Very big portions, tasty and beautiful! The menu is a fix menu which you can choose your dishes.. We took an amazing cookie San... More
