La Grande Cascade is a gourmet restaurant located in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. For a romantic dinner in winter or an alfresco lunch on a sunny day in summer, La Grande Cascade is the perfect rendezvous for anyone who loves fine dining and beautiful scenery in Paris. Yet La Grande Cascade has not always been a restaurant, and this explains its unusual and truly exceptional decor.

It was originally a lodge where Napoleon III, who came to the Bois de Boulogne to hunt, could take a rest. Over the years, La Grande Cascade has changed with the times while maintaining its unique "retro-modern" style. Inside, the gilding, chandeliers and mirrors offer a distinct charm to a residence that has retained its period magnificence.

My fiancé and I enjoyed a lovely evening here on our recent holiday. The food was very good and the most 'authentic' food we ate through our entire trip. Flavoursome seafood and meat dishes. Bread and butter to die for. I will say that it was very good except for shell in the crab dish which was unpleasant and apart... More

Was here for a business lunch for 25 pax. Was given a private room. Prior to dining we had champagne and canapés outdoor. The week happened to be the heat wave week of 37 degrees. Hence, although the ambience of the ground was superb, we could not enjoy the pre lunch snacks due to the hot sun. Lunch was very... More

This is one of the ultimate Parisian dining experiences. A magnificent 1900-era paviillon set in the Bois du Bologne with Michelin star food, beautifully prepared with formal-friendly service. The prices are sky high, but worth every penny. Tip: if you book online you qualify for 40% all food items provided you order from the main menu (there is also a... More

It is among the best deals in Paris when Vip delegation from China, for example. Typical French, old style environment, at short distance of business areas (la defense, 8, 1...). Menu is perfect as well as wines. Staff polite and quick. Perfect for business.

My this was a stellar experience. From the gorgeous interior to the impeccable service to the excellent food, it was an A+. This restaurant is great for special occasions. It was our 25th anniversary and it didn't disappoint.

We rented a house last month near the area and found this restaurant so attractive while driving pass, so we went in and asked for a table. Very fortunate we were well seated at the center of the hall after minutes. The atmosthere and the environment was very classy, not surprised from a well-known restauant with Michelin star! The food... More

The whole experience was outstanding. The decor The service the food the wine pairing. The dessert was unbelievable. Every little detail was perfect. Even their bread was excellent. The only downside was that some dishes were a bit salty.

beautiful setting. quality of food is closer to 2 star than 1 star, in my opinion. compared to last visit of 3 years ago, we got the feeling of cutbacks in the menu and the wine. this was a trend around Paris though.

We went for lunch and we're not disappointed ! The restaurant is in an old hunting lodge in the middle of the Bois de Boulogne in Paris. The service and food were impeccable and we spent a relaxing couple of hours in a wonderful setting. Definitely a place to re visit!
