Description: La Grande Cascade is a gourmet restaurant located in the heart of the Bois...
La Grande Cascade is a gourmet restaurant located in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. For a romantic dinner in winter or an alfresco lunch on a sunny day in summer, La Grande Cascade is the perfect rendezvous for anyone who loves fine dining and beautiful scenery in Paris. Yet La Grande Cascade has not always been a restaurant, and this explains its unusual and truly exceptional decor. It was originally a lodge where Napoleon III, who came to the Bois de Boulogne to hunt, could take a rest. Over the years, La Grande Cascade has changed with the times while maintaining its unique "retro-modern" style. Inside, the gilding, chandeliers and mirrors offer a distinct charm to a residence that has retained its period magnificence.

Loved every detail, from the taxi door being opened for me to the final goodbye. The service was excellent and the food exquisite.

It is a restaurant that my husband and I went to for the past 10 years, A beautiful place to eat on a sunny day, but this Sunday, I was disappointed by the staff's not groomed suits, and the food that was bland..

My family had dinner here that my sister booked online to get the special price. We were warmly welcomed and the high end service continued throughout the whole dinner. Waiters were fluent in English and made good recommendations as to pairing our courses and selecting a wine. All meals were served with traditional silver service style on fine china. My... More

An evening on the terrace in July is worth a trip to Paris. Excellent food and service. Choose your champagne glass to start and then get two good glasses of wine included in the daily menu.

There is no word to qualify La Grande Cascade. it was last Sunday for my boyfriend 30th birthday. The place was just Wow (was built in the 2nd Empire), the food refined and delicious. The service was PERFECT and the waiter very nice and helpful. I really recommend this restaurant!

Unbelievable! The restaurant is really traditional where you can fell like a Parisian. The waiters are ready to provide a good quality of service, attention, explain your doubts, present the dishes and speak French and English! The food is awesome, I tried the menu degustation, where you can try small portions of special dishes. It is a complete experience, you fell... More

Took some clients to dinner on a business trip. This restaurant is all about quality and service both of which were superb. We were all impressed with the food which could not be faulted and the wine selection was excellent as you would expect. This is somewhere where you would go for a special occasion or when you need to... More

Having read the reviews, I felt it was high time we went. A stroll through the Bois de Boulogne from Porte Maillot Metro station gave us a good appetite and it turned out we needed it! Whilst Le Pavillon is haute cuisine in Paris' finest style, the portions are most certainly not 'nouvelle'. From the amuse bouche right through to... More
