Cosy, traditional Paris restaurant with white linen. A group of us came (business trip) and had great service, lovely food in a really nice setting. Seafood lovely as was steak tartare and duck. Thoroughly recommend.

Sure we didnt try many restaurants in the 5 days we were there but the food here was brilliant. We ate here on the first night in paris and all other restaurants were measured by La Gauloise and they were found wanting.

The food was very tasty and nicely presented (Terrine, fish, Duck breast, chioux with chantilly and strawberry) without being exceptional. Helpful, friendly staff, all of whom had good English skills. (We avoided the terrace on this visit because of the noise from a truck parked with motor running.)

Enjoyed two meals here, the second on our 30th wedding anniversary. They even made my husband another soufflé because the chef wasn't happy with his first one.

This restaurant was suggested to us by our cousin, who lived in Paris for several years. It was just across the street from our hotel. The food was excellent, the wait staff very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was excellent. We ate outside by the street and watched the activity. I think it is only open for dinner, but... The staff here was super nice. We came on a recommendation from our hotel (which was around the corner). We should have gone the first night we were in town before we were spoiled w smaller more French Bistrots. The food here is good but there is better in Paris. My goat cheese appetizer (of the pre fixe menu) was... More

My wife and I dined here after our hotel recommended it, and made the reservations. Since we had reservations, we arrived and they immediately served us champagne....what a special touch. We ordered dinner, and I ordered the steak, which was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing! Great atmosphere, and they spoke excellent English.

Great little restaurant with good food and lovely wine. Beef terrine to start which was flavoursome and interesting followed by beef tartar which was excellently seasoned. Wine selection was great - I would highly recommend the Côtes de Bourg Chateux de Barbe. Approachable and very helpful staff - the manager(?) is around helping people dressed very smartly in his suit... More

Started our meal with a complimentary bread basket and 4 mini toasts with a dip. My husband had the beef provencial (stew) followed by cream cheese and strawberry which turned out to... More
