Friday dinner

We arrived late Friday evening and had asked the hotel to make a dinner reservation close to the hotel. We had a wonderful 2 course dinner. Everything was delicious and looked good. Staff was friendly and spoke English. I would definitely recommend it to both couples and families with children.

Fantastic dinner! The atmosphere was intimate and the food memorable. I still happily recall sauteed fennel under an anglerfish steak. A great evening with little to leave for wanting.

I got the lamb bowl (whatever its called) and the saint Marceline cheese for dessert - like a true tourist! :) Very friendly staff and delicious meals. Wine was excellent and the waiter really knew the wine well - just let them choose.

The food and staff were excellent. We opted for the three course meal and it was delicious. My son has food allergies and the service staff was very helpful in finding him safe foods. When in doubt they always checked with the chef. Get the house wine by the carafe - it's very good and cheaper than bottles. Great recommendation... More

We have been to many bistros during this week. This was the most expensive. The service consisted of taking order and delivering food! Nothing more. The fish turbot was the biggest ripoff. French fries were just right crispy but not hot. No one checked in. Service unacceptable.

We were recommended by our hotel receptionist to eat at this restaurant . Wow ! It was so good, we ate here every night of our stay. Two courses for 24Euro50. I couldn't recommend any one particular dish as they were ALL amazing. Each time, we finished with coffee and this was presented with freshly made madellines and chocolates. The... More

Incredible food. Left there wanting more. Nice atmosphere my wife and I shared a carafe of wine during our visit. Would definitely revisit.

Looked nice from outside so we decided to give it a try. The food was beautiful and the service was just as good. Very nice staff and can't complain at the price, 2 courses for ?25! Would recommend to anyone, we will be returning ourselves.

This was essentially a business leisure dinner and the restaurant was selected by our host as a typical Parisienne experience. He hit the nail on the head. The decor adn ambience probably has not changed much in decades and is best decirbed as sumptious red velvet curtains, ornate wood work and gives the air of a gentlemans club. Service was... More

The setting is quite beautiful in a classic, somewhat luxurious way - red velvet and dark wood. Service was competent and fast, and the prices also went with the overall atmosphere. The food unfortunately isn't quite on par - the steak was good, but tiny, and the pot-au-feu was definitely nothing to write home about.
