This place hasn't changed since we used to eat here on weekends, when my mother didn't have the strength to do the full monty for her five children. Since those days this place has become trendy, and sometimes overcrowded, but the spirit is still the same, an unique venue, a real French bistro hidden in an otherwise residential neighborhood.

My family and I ate here on our last full night in Paris. It was very very good. It could not have been better. We were next to the table where the Obama's ate at (not that it matters) along with many other Americans. The meal was fabulous as was the service and the conversation with the wait staff. Pricey,... Excellent food. A bit more expensive than others but well worth it. Need reservations. Traditionalist Parisian foods. Duck was good.

This little gem was recommended by our hotel staff....and it lived up to its recommendations. It is a little pricey for its specials, but worth it...and the wine is great, and the service was very efficient. Friendly neighborhood type restaurant!

Whilst out on a lovely stroll on a very warm and humid Friday evening my partner and I stumbled across this lovely restaurant. The service was first class with very attentive waiters. The food was terrific and we had a lovely evening. The food was a little pricey, however we are in Paris central. Well recommended.

Traditional cuisine with wonderful service. If you want to come here for dinner, do make reservations a few days ahead, they are always booked. Recommended : Melon with country ham. Main courses: Canard confit, piece de boucher (butcher cut of the day) au poivre - steak with peppercorn sauce. For dessert, do order baba au rum (they gave you a... More

We have eaten at this restaurant several times. It is usually full. You will need reservations. We did not have reservations, but arrived very early and were able to be accommodated due to a late party reservation for our table. The food is good and the service is great. Typical bistro type atmosphere and food.

I was to meet my new wife at this restaurant. She got there an hour before me and let them know I would be meeting her. They sat her way in the back where she could not even see the street. She ordered and ate her lunch. When I arrived I told them I was meeting my wife and asked... More

One of the few places in Paris where the service is truly great - by US standards. Friendly staff, helpful, smiling and not rough. The food is basic traditional bistro food. No more, and no less. If you want to start with a typical Parisian meal, this is a good place to go. So there is no risk. The location... More

Another recommendation from a local French. We called to book more than a month in advance to make sure we have tables, seeing travelers' comments that they can't get tables easily. Yet we almost gave it up coz we had great lunch at Pottoka the same day and was still full when it was approaching dinner time. Parents wanted to... More
