Wonderful Neighborhood restaurant

I was taken to this restaurant by my grandfather YEARS AGO! I have returned ever since. I always ask for the Boudain Noir or black/blood sausage. IT is amazing here. Again I was not disappointed.. served on a bed of carmelized apple chunks and topped with shredded lettuce it was the perfect blend... read more

We sought this hotel out based on the trip advisor reviews. It was a Saturday evening and we hadn't booked. Despite them being busy, we managed to get a table after waiting at the bar for a few minutes. The staff were really friendly and happy to explain the menu to us foreigners! The food is based on South West... More

Great atmosphere. Traditional French food, but a bit boring. Great service. Not a lot going on in the area after dinner, but view of top of Eiffel tower from outside seating area.

I came here for a business dinner, invited by a local. It was an impeccable experience. Beautiful interior. A very high quality take on traditional (southwestern) French fare. Impeccable, friendly, respectful service (including to foreigners). The place appears to be popular both with locals and with tourists, and English language menus are available. The leek entre was to die for.... More

Curious to experience french cuisine in this restaurant esp when visited by Obama 5 years ago. First night in Paris and arrived early at Restaurant. Staff appeared friendly and bill came to €170 for 3 of us.Seated right in front of the bar manned by Indian Bartender. Place was busy. We placed our bags underneath the table while we had... More

Myself and my partner spent a lot of time researching restaurants near the Eiffel Tower, we wanted to have a typical French meal and popular with locals rather than tourists and wow did this place meet these expectations! Our waiter was fantastic and the fact that we have very little French wasn't a problem. The food and wine was beautiful... More

This place has suffered the fate of popular restaurants who become too popular. We booked it for a major family event. Despite booking a month in advance we were asked to book an early sitting (7 pm) which we acquiesced in, and were told we'd be sitting in a small room upstairs, which again, we acquiesced in. The whole night... More

We'd last been to this restaurant a dozen years ago, liked it then and loved it this time. Classic starters like oeufs mayonnaise and terrine join a list of plats including confit de canard, boudin, filet de boeuf and farm chicken, ranging in price from 23-33 E. A blackboard of daily specials is brought to the table and from that... More

With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
