The popularity of this place sky -rocketed after the Obama's ate here. But after having dinner,I understood why they chose this place amongst thousands. We had reservations at 9.30 pm but arrived at 8.30 pm since we were hungry. Our table was not ready but they offered us a table outside on the sidewalk and we jumped at it! It has the traditional... More

This place was super busy on a Sunday night! My husband is still raving about the salmon that he had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday chicken. We highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our visit to this bistro in April 2014. We had main course and dessert (too much lunch to squish in a first course). We both ordered the steak with bernaise, done medium. Problem is that it came out blue, which I can stomach but my husband can't bear. The restaurant recooked his, and gave him a... More

I was twice in this restaurant and I never disapointed in it. I choose from the menu at both time, but they were very delicious. The best restaurant I have evever eaten in Paris.

Stumbled upon this gem when we decided not to wait for Cocottes down the block. Happy we did! This place was fantastic, and our waiter was perfect. Portions are great size, wine list has tons of options, and the specials of the day were top notch. Good dessert selection as well...if you have room. I think we went through three... More

It's an old style bistrot like Parisian restaurant. Good comfort food, try the Confit de Canard! Fantastic. Even the bordeaux house wine is great. Always full so make a reservation. Don't know why but always full of brazilians.

Had a meal here, following the tourist trail arising from the Obama's eating here. Had the fish special which was 28 Euros- ouch, that is expensive for a main course. Even more so considering the portion size was so small - I thought that the President must have had a big Mac before (and after) eating here. The food was... More

What a lovely cute restaurant. We had dinner here (they take reservations) and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The steak frites was yummy, wine list = great and the crème Brule delicious. The food presentation could have been better but I couldn't fault anything else. Our waiter was friendly and prompt. We sat outside under the heaters (in September)... More

We visited La Fontaine de Mars on our first night in Paris. We did not make reservations, as we were not sure what time we would be dining. I would highly recommend having them, especially on a weekend. It was later in the evening and they were very accomodating, even though we did not have a reservation. They seated us... More

It was a great plave that we had a lunch in. We had steak and duck which were both great. Fiendly staff and beautiful terrace. A bit expensive but I guess it is just Paris where everything is expensive.
