Romantic (but touristy) French restaurant

This was our Paris "splurge" meal. My husband and I ordered the escargot, steak with black pepper sauce, duck confit, and floating island. The duck confit was the best I've ever had! The other menu items were good but not noteworthy. The ambience was charming and romantic but there were more... read more

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here at the recommendation of our concierge. It opens for dinner at 7:30, and within minutes the restaurant was packed and turning away those without reservations. Every neighborhood needs a place like this-- excellent food, charming and efficient service, and warm, wonderful ambiance. We enjoyed the escargots, steak tartare, steak au poivre, French onion soup,... More

We throughly enjoyed our recent dinner at this lovely restaurant. The food was excellent. The staff made the experience fun. It was filled with a mix of locals and tourists and the table near the open doors on a quiet street made for great ambience. The food was excellent. I had the melon and prosciutto as a starter and it... More

We had dinner here, we turned up at 8pm to request a table, and were very lucky to squeeze in as everyone after us had to wait up to an hour. Very popular restaurant, little bit pricey at c140 euros (with one bottle house wine which was very good) but we thoroughly enjoyed it and felt it was worth it... More

Our hotel made a call to arrange a reservation for our anniversary dinner. Their reservations were full but told the hotel they would find us a table. We arrived 15 before opening to find a long lineup. True to their word, they had a nice outside table. Service was excellent, wine great and the Beef bourgeon was excellent. Make a... More

A very popular local bistrot. This was recommended and booked by our hotel and we were pleased as when we arrived people were queuing for tables. Fairly limited menu but the finely sliced prosciutto platter was a good starter for two of us accompanied by French bread and cornichons. I followed this with a beautifully cooked duck breast and my... More

I came here on the back on the recommendation from our hotel. We had to wait in line for a table which can only be a good sign. It wasn't long before we were seated on a table outside. The menu had a great choice of typically french food, the starters and the main courses were delicious and although we... More

We were a party of five, arrived a bit early for lunch and was seated on the terrace. Waiter was friendly and attentive. The duck and steak was really good. Prices were a bit expensive though.
