Have walked by this place 1000 times and have always wanted to try it, well I did the other night and was not disappointed. We sat outside, the weather and the atmosphere were perfect in the courtyard. There were 4 of us and they were able to seat us easily, surprising for a Saturday night - but it was early.... More

This place is so charming. We were greeted and shown the menu on a large chalk board. We had three courses and they were all fantastic!

Excellent french food served by friendly staff in a pleasant bistro is the best way to descibe our dining experience. We had heard about this bistro and after checking trip advisor decided to try it for lunch. The duck confit was perfect, accompanied by beautifully cooked potatoes and wilted lettuce. My wife had the ile flottante for dessert and it... More

This is a great choice if one is really in the mood for classic French bistro fare. The escargots were deliciously buttery and garlicly, the steak equally well prepared, and the deserts were all one could hope for. The wine list is broad in its offerings from around France with a number of special occasion choices as well. The service... More

I went two times to this restaurant, food is good, my favorite dish is the beef with fries and very good bearnaise sauce. But the staff is very friendly what you don't find everywhere in Paris.

I honestly wasn't expecting that much given the popularity the place has because of the whole Obama thing but was pleasantly surprised. Got in without a reservation (barely) and settled down to a a very simple but good roast chicken. My wife's soup was excellent as was the fish she ordered. My daughter wolfed her fois gras (which is par... More

We found La Fontaine de Mars on a blog and decided to try. Although we did not have dinner reservation they accommodated us. the waiter was very friendly and did not rush us through the meal. I ordered a foie gras that was memorable. the food was also delicious and the price was within the quality of the restaurant. It... More

We managed to get a really nice table and, though they were busy with a line out the door, the service was excellent. The server did a great job of recommending dishes for our group...we loved everything. The duck confit was outstanding. This is my go-to dish in Paris and theirs may be the best I've had. It's served simply... More
